If there is such a thing as the patriarchy and toxic masculinity, you'll find it in the tradie sphere. That's not to say they're all bad apples, but there is definitely an overarching culture there that promotes traditional "manly" behaviours. Basically the red pill ideology, just less extreme.

I live in a Conservative Bible Belt state where the culture encourages everyone to get married as soon as they graduate high school, so if you're still single by 25 at the latest you're out of luck. And even in the rare event that I do meet somebody in my age range who is still single, she won't want anything to do with anyone who isn't a Christian.

Is EVERY part of Texas that bad? Even Austin? Is there any chance you could move to Austin or some similar place?

I don't live in Texas. I went to Austin once for a job interview, and it was an 8+ hour Amtrak ride. I was only there a day, but it seemed nice. But it is just as far and expensive to move to than anywhere else.

Half the Women here say women shouldn’t date loser men like me, so yes having high paid job would change a lot for most men like me.
If I was a doctor most those women would have dated me and odds are one would have been relationship.
Not getting any dates means no chance of relationship.

You don't know for sure that you'd be able to get a relationship with a high-paying job
Do you think your low income is the only reason women won't date you now?

Most those women who rejected me would haves dated me if not for my low paid job, odds are one would have gotten into a relationship as we had quite a bit in common and I met most of their other requirements.

Yes I do as they tell me it is.
They ask what I do for work then tell me sorry they need a man who works a real job
Most the Women on wp say the same thing they won’t date men who don’t have wel paid jobs and tell other women not to as well

Sky high.

Same age + long term plans to work in the healthcare field = my brotha from anotha motha fo’ sho. 8)

Well, I don't know if it'll work out. Being able to pay for school is still a big if for me at this point, and the reason I haven't already done so years ago.

Goals take time. 6 years ago I was $110k in debt and bankrupt. This past January my trading account hit a peak of $134k in the black. (It's nowhere near that high now.. if I had a crystal ball I've have sold stocks that day, oh well, I'll wait.) Life can change dramatically, including financially. Plus there's always loans, grants, bursaries, scholarships, part time work, Summer jobs etc. Where there's a will, there's a way!

I'm working more than full time now so that I can bank cash towards going back to Uni sooner rather than later. And I miiiiiight have a lucrative opportunity next Spring that would accelerate those plans. Time will tell.

I wish I became a nurse, it’s literally the job that can let you move to anywhere in the world.

The aggressive toxic male culture is rampant within society and is an issue in most countries around the world.

Sounds like my area of the Bible Belt except rednecks prefer trucks but both them and ghetto hip hopper thugs think martial arts are "gay". Both demographics hate 'football' (Soccer in the US) though moreso rednecks than hip hoppers. Ironically, both demographics hate each other but actually have a lot in common. Both feast on fast food, both drink until they pass out or vomit, smoke until their nostrils burn, urinate on the ground, treat women like dirt, don't read, and only watch violent movies or TV. In spite of all that, both call themselves Christian.

Mmhmm. Many nurses move here form abroad.

You still have time. You have at least another three decades of working time. May as well spend it doing what you want to, where you want to!

He has been rejected by a society that never ever gave him chance and society will never give him a chance. It is a cruel world you either fit in or you do not.

Stefan Molyneux says people with depression should work longer hours so they can afford therapy. This is why I hate Stefan Molyneux.

Did she have another source of income? Like a husband for instance? Pension from the old job?

I simply cannot afford to quit my current career and go to a full-time university to study all over again with all its tuition expenses.

I did a kind of career shift toward a more programming oriented career, but that after doing 15 months of extensive certified night classes.

And it was tiring.

Nursing is a whole full-time 3 years dedicated specialization tho, it won't be possible to study it without quitting work.

What was your source of income during that?
