It's interesting there are still a bunch of placenames here named after the old gods, towns like Woensdrecht (Wodan's Ford, Wodan is the Dutch name for Odin), Wednesbury in England, and of course the days of the week.

There some attempts by Church leaders to that effect, but had little results. With the weekdays, I think I remember they succeeded in Austria to have a different name for Thursday and that is about it.

You'd expect the Christians to get rid of that first.

The Catholic Church did not put that much emphasis on changing such things. If they could not get rid of it, they tried to give a Christian appearance to it. Leading to that many elements survived, something under a Christian camouflage.

It was protestantism that really put an emphasis on eradicating these elements. Luckily, not always successful.

Hehe, I remember a mod removed a picture I posted because it had f**k or s**t in it, but that is more than a year ago. But then anything goes in this thread.

in the movie they invented the drug after ww3 where we humans nearly wiped completely out. they deemed emotions were the cause for all wars. so the drug removed all emotions and they burned anything that would cause emotions.
they also killed anyone who refused to take it.

not saying its perfect, but would help some people like myself.

I get what you mean, I sure could use that as well at times. What movie was that? Equilibrium?

Stoicism is a philosophy which originated in ancient Greece, but today it's meant in the global sense of power of indifference....basically mental discipline which means taking the power from everything and everyone who can make our lives miserable - that is people, circumstances, even our own mental states.

it partly a plot for a game, one that hard to tell the line between good and bad, what do you call good abused people who become genocidial, but are also just trying to retake the home from people who stole it but the people there didn't actually steal it. hmm it also seems to relate to the middle east. danm hidden messages in games maybe lol

That "traditional medicine" crap is awful, these ignorant fools are driving species to extinction all because of their superstition. Sad to be a species that goes extinct because of idiots with shrimp brains, you just got hunted to extinction by the stupidest people in the world who want to eat ground tiger dick instead of popping a viagra. Take the blue pill!

Also the fur coats that are so popular in Europe among the yobbos, the black coats with fur on top. Many of them are not fake, because it is cheaper to breed foxes or whatever in cages in China than to use fake fur.

And Ramsay definately has problems with food, he often gets sick during shows, puking or getting diarrea. Maybe it varies from person to person, but I have never been sick from food in my entire life. Either he has a weak stomach or he eats rotten dogshit straight up.

:o *hides.
why people got to hurt foxes. why. they just want to be loved.

I think its rather he has a stuck up attitude for food. he use to fancy food that he makes. so most the food he makes is disgusting to me, but the stuff I eat, he'd throw a way and close my kitchen down for lol.

though a lot of the places he goes have very illegal unsanitary food set ups.

lol didn't hear about that game :)

and indeed it's hard :? ...well there are some techniques like meditation that can help not to be so at mercy of the inner and outer stimuli...but they have expiry date, and there is always the danger of relapse.

Anyway, beard does not make a man :)

its called killzone they buy the planet, it turns out to be a success and vita mid point for transportation to other earth colonies so earth takes it by force and exiles them to a horrible mining colony, years later they build a military naizish nation and invade their formal home now home to a colony from earth. but you don't learn that til the 2or 3rd game.

I can't do much meditation with my ADHD

no but some men look good in beard and ugly without it. I think I might be one.

thats cool I also feel bad about hurting treas or when I see they got cut and bleeding sap :(

Booyakasha wrote:

yes in some states, though the one in that video is just a wild one who found a toy to play with. lol. theres also videos of some playing with sprinklers, or on a trampoline lol.

^those are pets, and thers many more videos out there of pet foxes

http://www.tinytracksexoticanimals.com/fox.html
scroll down and you can see the different kinds for sale in usa. then theres the ones I'd really want which are domesticated foxes from russia.

foxes play like dogs and like cats, they purr, they can be trained all bit it more smart and stubborn than dogs.
they loyal, though when scared I they pee and it smells awful so I hear. they'll shy and have to be introduced to new people slowly. my state along with all the west coast states don't allow foxes. I'd have to move to indiana to own one :(

That fox video with the dog toy is so cute, they really remind me of a cross between a cat and a dog in some ways. Perhaps if foxes had been domesticated early on as dogs and cats people would see them as pets, and not treat them so bad. The US has so much more wildlife, I have never seen a fox here even though there are some living here.

Foxes are beautiful :)

I've seen some a few times in my garden, but not often they are to shy. Mostly when it has been very cold winters and they come looking for food. One day I made waffles, and I through out the rest, I had many for the animals then a fox came and took one :) It was very nice to see. Also a male deer really liked it becuase he came 3 times that day for my waffles, normaly I just see the female ones. When you see them with full fur walking in the snow it is so beautiful. :D
