Shows like Dad's Army and Allo Allo made nazi jokes long before it was cool.

That could never be made by the BBC today, they are politically correct. They also bothered Clarkson every time he made a joke, bleh. I wish I could boycott them but then I'm not a British taxpayer.

The "original" Hitler can also be funny. This is one of the very few clips from Der Untergang that actually has the correct subtitles. Bringen sie mir Fegelein! FEGELEIN! FEGELEIN!

I can not see how people possibly ever could see Hitler as charismatic...Hij was een viezerik!

Hopefully Clarkson will soon be on TV for you again :)

I can sort of see why people from that time would follow him. They had no television, so people today have probably seen more of Hitler than the Germans living at that time. Hitler uses fairly simple languages in his speeches, even I can sort of understand most of it. And he is speaking to a population that already hated the current political elite (traitors in WW1), the bankers, the Jews, the French, the British, the Americans. And they made sure that for his speeches they recorded the cheering audience, that makes a huge difference. It's not that weird that people followed him, especially after years of lies and propaganda.

Lol! I just found this. These clothes actually makes the swastika look cute. Though a shop selling only swastika stuff is realllly suspicious. From Latvia with love:

That is rather disturbing...

"Pērkonkrusts (Thundercross) – the symbol of fortune, fire, light, strength and prosperity. Thundercross is related to the Sun, Goddess Laima and Thunder. This sign was cut into the beds of children and woven into belts for newborns. Today in Latvia it is used for shirts, gloves, socks, belts and other traditional clothing."

hmmm

I doubt they will have much success

If anyone is wondering, both normal swastika and hammer and sickle are banned there.

Ah, I can sort of see why considering their history.
Both are legal in the Netherlands, but especially the swastika won't make you any friends here.

Hilarious, this so suits this thread.

"I will forever be alone" while in German he says "I will put a bullet in my head".

These fake Hitler rants are funny, but the original was funny already, ranting how the generals spent years at the military academy just to learn how to handle knife and fork.
