Double standards. -_-
There is a difference between not pretending to like what you like, and trying to stop you from enjoying what you like and stop you from talking to other people about what you like and bashing and belittling what you like as a waste of time.
Me doing what you like would be a waste of time. Me trying to talk to you about stuff you like that I don't even understand would be wasting my time. Me sitting on my a$$ listening to you talk to someone else who is also interested in the stuff you like would be wasting my time.
Me doing what I like is not a waste of time, me telling you about what I like when you asked me about it is not a waste of time, me finding other people with similar interests to talk about the stuff I like is not a waste of time.
The fact that each of us chooses to spend time on different interests that are not all mutually of interest doesn't have to mean one of us is wasting their time. It means we're different. When you call my interests a waste of time--how am I supposed to react to that? Drop everything I enjoy doing, just because you don't also enjoy the same things? No thanks, I'd rather live until I die instead of dying inside just because you don't approve of everything I do.
I don't try to stop you from talking about the stuff you like with other people who also like that stuff. The fact that you try to stop me from talking about the stuff I like with others who enjoy it says more about you than it does about me.
