Dealbreakers for me,

lying, cheating, bad hygiene, drug use, extreme heavy drinking, being a rascist, lack of compassion and humor. I don't think these should be much to ask for.

I've been involved with an overly aggressive guy, and one who was so passive that I wondered if he did in fact have a spine. 8O

Someone in the middle would be nice for a change. Yes, a nice guy!!

I was referring to the manipulation.

-Insulting
-Lazy
-Lack of intellectual thought (I want to be able to have a smart conversation with someone)
-Misogynistic
-Sexist
-Racist
-Unemployed
-No sense of humor
-No sense of adventure
-Arrogance
-Mean to his mother
-Doesn't want children
-Doesn't want to get married
-Bad with children
-Constantly talks about ex-girlfriends/is in regular contact with exes
-Doesn't want to talk through problems
-Immature
-Jesus freak
-Homophobic
-Football thug
-Chaviness

I'm sure there's more but that's all I can think of for now.

I would probably be a good match, then.

Too bad you're on the other side of the Atlantic.

It's a British term - link

From my time in the UK I was left with the impression it's used in a similar way as the American "white thrash" with the respective cultural specifics.

So it's the British equivalent of a redneck?

It doesn't look like chav is equivalent to redneck... maybe more like gangsta

"The chav" seems to be strictly city-based. Might actually be more like a ghetto stereotype? My friends seemed to use the word for young poor ignorant uneducated punks that have a specific dress code and like to hang around in groups, binge drink, attack or verbally abuse passers, vandalise cars or property and generally making a nuisance out of themselves. They are portrayed as violent, hateful and intolerant. The term has very negative connotations. I've never heard it used outside the city.

I'm neither British or American so I've probably just stepped on everybody's toes - sorry, I'm just a clueless foreigner!

Now I'll just wait for a Brit to tell me how bad I've messed this up :?

Deal breakers that can turn me off a girl:
-If she smokes or does illegal drugs.
-If she has children from a previous relationship.
-If she is intolerant of anyone who plays video games.
-If she absolutely dislikes my taste in music, or otherwise has absolutely no chemistry with me.

That You tube video is funny. She really should not piss and moan about it when she makes the offer to pay and is then left hanging when the guy says OK. I think he was calling her out to see how shallow she was.

My EX was kinda like that. I think men and women should go Dutch (each pays for their half of the check) on a dinner date. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind picking up the tab every once in awhile, but the women out there that expect the guy to pay all the time, are selfish, and really annoy me.
