I think you sell yourself short toad. I think you have potential to be a very good boyfriend or husband.
Moreso than a lot of the guys here who post about how they hate women.

Unless someone comes along and gives me a chance (another one actually, as I royally screwed up my first one), I'd have to respectfully disagree... I can respect your opinion on the matter, and I appreciate the sentiment, but still i have to disagree. Sorry...

What did you do to screw it up? Probably nothing. You may not have been compatible. If I tried to be in a relationship that didn't work, and hey, it didn't work because we wern't compatible, its noones fault.

You're still young, and are you in the workforce yet? Did you know I didn't properly lose my virginity until I was 24 years old? I have been in 2 relationships, one lasted 4 months and one wasn't even official.

If you can work on your self worth, I think you will be surprised. You are obviously intelligent, a decent guy, et etc.

I'll tell you a story. When I was a kid, I thought the exact same way as you. I thought "Hey when you grow up you'd better take the first man that wants you because it might be your only chance". The reason for that is not because I was worthless, but it was because kids treated me like I was worthless, so I believed it.

You need to tell yourself that you aren't worthless. You're likely much more intelligent from the average plonk for a start if you're going into IT.

I'm locking this thread because of the potential for personal conflict.
