Rejected again, I don't know how guys do it

Much easier said than done. I can't be myself or can't find a way to feel comfortable with myself. Being myself killed off a lot of my social life and potential friendships.

It is tough to be eccentric or different. One silver lining is that those friends probably weren't for you, if being yourself drove them off. You need friends that are ok with you being you.

Easier said than done, like you said -- I myself don't have a ton of friends, and actually prefer to avoid getting entangled now -- too much of a drag on my time (I already have a wife and kid), and I've found that too many times, friends turn out to just be people who like to use me. I'm done being that sucker.
