Why would you want a car when you can get their more quickly on a bicycle ?* I'm about to get my "burn calories"/ burn oil bicycle poster it's in the mail! :)

Until proven otherwise flashy car= cock and if it's a Audi and if your sensible and believe Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear fame your unquestionably a cock ( I have family members who drive such cars and I thank JC for confirming my suspicions.

*I assume like most car journeys it's less than 10 km so I will beat ya so their Mr small fry Audi owner!

OH and non cocks are little better in their Kia crappier or toyota fridgemate these people don't care about cars so shouldn't be on the road as their a risk to society if you don't care about cars how can you be a good driver ? that and their an eyesore and theirs enough of that in our urban environements! Have a little bit of self respect if you only have around 20k to spend why not buy a Fiat 500 or = :) Not a Kia 8O

What I'm saying only enthusiast's (non cocks) should be driving it would reduce the road toll and improve traffic flow if your not an enthusiast whats the point in ploughing $100's of dollars a week on a fridge filled with junk food ?

I do like the tone of your jig does that mean I can give you a doubles on my bicycle or I can fit you in the back on my trailer.

So is this sleep over on or not seems not oh well.

some people think it is opulent, but the girls think it is kind of "wanky" and they think i bought it for status reasons.
i bought it because i like the way it feels to drive, and i like the exhilarating rush of adrenaline that is provided when i put my foot down.
it is not really that expensive because it is old, but the girls i know think it must be expensive even though i have told them it is not (it is to repair and run however).

when we get to where we were driving to, we get out and close the doors behind us and never give another thought to the car we walk away from.

my car is not in the league of a porsche or lamborghini so i do not know.

old mercs are cool,

though I wonder will new mercs that become old will they do the same :?

not expensive I assume around 25 k ?

And also for the record I`m not saying a fancy car is absolutely necessary to get a gf, far from it.
People seem to read my posts and fill in a bunch of blanks in their minds about my attitude.
I`ve never owned a car, I`m much more interested in travel. There are a myriad of other ways to DHV and demonstrate attractiveness.

Subotai, you have it mixed up. it isn't instinctive to go after men with status symbols, it is enculturated. also, it is very recent that men held wealth like that at all. for most of human prehistory individuals did not hold any wealth of their own. it is more 'natural' for women to be attracted to personal qualities over wealth. but if you expect people to be shallow, you will not be disappointed because you'll attract likeminded people, i'm sorry to say.

We can think more of that if I happen to be in Australia.

If you're by any chance in my side of the globe, it's not a problem for you to sleep over at my place as long as you don't mind sharing the bed with MXH. He'll be staying here as long as he needs and wants to.

Take care :)

Well, I remember seeing some 90s SLKs and whatnot going for not much money. Like 8-9 grand. USD obviously. http://hartford.craigslist.org/ctd/2934079513.html For an example around here. http://hartford.craigslist.org/ctd/2921418446.html E class wagon for even less.

Top Gear episode where they buy German used cars for under 7K. Quite a fun episode, both cars broke stuff, though. Unless you're a mechanic and have time on your hands, and are good at sourcing parts and whatnot, that's why they're so cheap. I think as far as actual parts, it's not too bad if you can wait and source a part on ebay or something, but if your car gets taken to a repair shop, and the parts have to come from the dealer, you're a bit screwed sometimes.

Wealth is often a physical manifestation of personal qualities that are valuable for survival in today's social structure.
What I said is women are more attracted to a man's survival value and men to a woman's replication value.
Today wealth is a large factor in survival value, so even if inherited it is still attractive in that sense.

women AREN'T more attracted to a man's survival value. women do not depend on men for survival, nor have they done so for most of human prehistory. there are people who are attracted to wealth for personal or cultural reasons, but it is not biological.

personal qualities are not manifested in material wealth either - thankfully most people know this quite clearly.

The notion of complete female dependency is extremely recent, evolutionarily.
If the survival of a woman and her offspring had often depended solely on the whims of a male,
we wouldn't be here.

My mother never had to depend on a MAN to raise me she did all of that on her own women do not need men to survive who could even think that makes sense gosh like that is beyond sexist in a lot of ways to me.

Exactly, even more proof that the biological theory is complete hogwash and from a pick up artist book. This one, actually.

Yes, it's in the book and explains different theories on why women are attracted to men. He discusses a few theories in this video, including triggering the pre-selection switch in a woman.
