So short people really do have no reason to live?

He's 4'10 and in theory the strongest man pound for pound ever.

Women, your opinions?

I don't know about women, but as a man, I think this is a very boring sport to commit to.

As a man, I find this one of the best sports in the entire world, it's more or less gymnastics with a barbell. Maybe it caters to my autismal love of repetitive motion, though.

3/4 of guys I've dated have been shorter than me or the same height/shorter than me in heels

this is an interesting insight

I guess I have a preference for taller* guys, but I will always get to know someone first before making a judgement on their datability anyway. On the face of it though if you showed me a short guy and a tall guy and asked me who I'd prefer I'd probably choose the taller one.

*taller than me. I'm 5'3. I've dated guys 6' and over and that's a little TOO tall for someone my height.

LOL yes this is a double whammy for me. I am an Aspie and below average height (5'5"). A winning formula for women for sure 0_o

To top it off I am an ectomorph and can't gain weight. I only weigh 115 lbs even though I use a kettlebell, do push-ups, and pull-ups. Ah well....

I'm an ectomorph too, let me tell you a secret:

Learn to overpower that blast furnace of a metabolism of yours, and you can build muscle just as freaking fast. I've put on 10 kgs in 6 months. Most people will tell you that's absolutely insane all natty. It really sucks getting used to stuffing your face with so much tunafish and baked beans, but it pays off if you're persistent.

Where I live there are a lot of really short woman who are paired with otherwise short men (to me) who are still taller then their woman. There are always short woman out there.

I'm tall and am attracted to taller men, that's just my preference, just as some men like brunettes, etc. A lot of the shorter men I have come across make up for the lack of height in attitude and that is not attractive to me.

well there is no way to say that it wouldn't either. Considering how complex personality and attitude building actually is.. basically we are the sum of all of our life experiences in addition to the underlying neurological issues surrounding being on spectrum.

So if you're already neurologically organized to be on spectrum.. and then are also below average height for your age group growing up, or are not athletic, or read to much, or wear your hair in a non-herd-approved fashion, or anything else to try and emphasize your individuality in early stages of development, you're going be inviting trouble. This leads to negative psychological problems in addition to the neurological problems.. which when combined make for a perfect storm which just accentuates all the problems from both things which leads to more negative stigmatization and MORE psychological reprisals on behalf of the herd. Since you're obviously not drawing the right conclusions, which is to conform, and in the case of height, you have no say over it, and that just leads to MORE stigmatization and more reprisals when you still fail to conform. This eventually leads to pscyhosis and ocd and anxiety disorders of all stripes..

For all the crap Americans talk about "Individuality" and how we are all 'Unique snowflakes' we really really hate people who are *gasp*, individuals, or unique. Where as cultures that traditionally talk about community are more inclined to find a place for the oddballs than to try and make them conform to the "Norm"...
