I have a really good idea. It's not mine, I can't take credit for it, and I can't tell offhand whose idea it is. Use the SIGNATURE LINE for a brief bio. Someone else here has done that, and also put in their screen name for the Aspie Affection site, IN THEIR SIGNATURE!

Put in whatever YOU think is the most important. Single, age, that screen name over at Aspie Affection would be a good addition. Put in that you're a guy or gal, and if you're seeking a guy or gal.

And use that location area to show what area you are in, if you really want to make a connection. Just the state or general metro area.

People also travel, so that if someone happens to be traveling to your area, they can PM and you can meet other Wrong Planet members for lunch or coffee.

There was one man and his wife that would have a layover in my local airport and I could have met them. Except I didn't see that until days after they had come and gone. This was on another site.

You will then reach EVERYONE in a thread. If I read your post, I can then see basics, and maybe I notice someone in another thread in the same age group or area.

I don't think there are a lot of single men in my age group here. I'm 47. That's chronological. There was a guy I used to work with who was more mature at 20 than I am now. He was interested in politics and sure enough, I saw him on the news one time, working somehow for the governor of this state.

Well, I guess it's about time I stick this up here. I'm a guy, probably have high functioning AS. I like various shows-my current favorites are Heroes and Lost-Buffy and Roswell are probably my favorite shows ever. Other geeky stuff like that. Reading, randomly browsing the web, games (I loved the Final Fantasy series through 10), etc.

Politically I'm liberal, but for MORAL reasons (I've met some people who call themselves liberal, but it means they party and drink and whatever, and I don't do any of that. I think we should TAKE CARE OF PEOPLE, not try to screw them over...)

I'd love to meet a girl in or around Illinois, though I don't think there are many people on here from Illinois.

I live in Scotland. I am clearly the only human with Asperger's in Scotland, ever. If you live within 500 miles of me I'll be pleasantly surprised.

I'm 20, male, I write music, I write computer games, I draw with pencils, I do computer art, I design, I play guitar, I play the djembe, I play the keyboard a bit. I do not get paid. There is nothing that I truly take seriously about the Earth; all but a handful of humans are a joke to me, therefore I have some of the most expansive and flexible sarcasm on the planet. It often goes into double or triple layers of irony, so most people don't get it, lol. For me, the only way to function at all here is to enjoy the big joke rather than stubbornly trying to take it at all seriously. I find it very funny. I take only my creation and any extraliminal subjects seriously.

I have written something like ten albums and a couple of EPs, a text-based online multiplayer virtual reality which was never completed and now rots in the aether, and the beginning of the only Discordian novel I have ever heard of. I have also done a whole bunch of weirdo art. My current project is an innovative 2D top-down space shooter.

I like anime, music of almost all kinds (harshnoise, acoustic fusion, folk metal, infinity metal, gabber, j-pop, grindjazz, spazcore, ambient, classical, noh, black doom... right now I'm listening to Shpongle), irony, satire, natural psychedelics, creativity, collecting plushies that only just bear any resemblance to anything, controversial thought, realism, surrealism. I like to be able to focus completely on my projects for very long periods of time, but although I hate to admit it, I'd really love to have someone there. Code can be incredibly cold and bitter when you're alone in its sole company for days at a time.

No idea what I want in a girl. Maybe just someone who's interested in me and is capable of understanding me. I would be interested in any girl with similar interests and half a brain, although I have yet to encounter such a person. Creativity would be brilliant.
