Hello! My name is Graham. I'm newly SIngle. I was married for 10 Years. I learned I was an Aspie after my son was diagnosed with it. I am 31 years old. And facing a rough time in my life. My wife got tired of my aspie traits and decided that she would go back to her past. Which was being GAY! I tried to save it. But no luck! She's already had several girlfriends and sex and all that, while I just sit here and Wish I had someone again. We are still friends, but deep down inside I'd like to see her "FAIL and Karma take it's toll" But I will be nice. Us Aspies can be the Greatest people on the face of the planet or your worst nightmare. : ) I have been completely Monogamous my whole life. I was very controlled by her. I could never argue with her, because she would use threats and sometimes even smack me. Why I tried to save my marriage is beyond me now that I think about it. LOL!

I LOVEEE Heavy Metal music. I really feel my emotions in music. It makes me feel good most of the time. I just love guitars!

I am a great guy, I do Not have any friends in person, All mine are online. and most of them are people who are into Rock and British Comedies. I love British Comedies Like Bottom, the Young ONes, Mr. Bean, Monty Python. Filthy rich and catflap.

I'm also an Artist. But I have a retail job. I am capable of doing something great, yet my aspies limits me. I should be working in a gaming studio doing artwork not retail : (

I've most likely posted an about dozens of times in this thread. *SIGH* Here I go again. 8)

[removed by mod for privacy concerns]

Anyway, as well as films, I have a passion for music (creating it too), I love to socialise, hang out with my friends, and get out of the house, and go pubbing, and clubbing. I also casually game on XBOX 360, and Steam. I like to think, I'm not obsessed with anything, as I like to balance my hobbies and interests out.

I've been described by many, as outgoing, friendly, eccentric, and a nice person to be with. Got a good sense of humour too, ranging from Black Comedy, to Satire, and then some.

If not a friendship, I'm looking for a relationship (vice-versa). Not bothered on looks, a person relatively the same age as me, will be ok, but really and truly, I love personality rather than looks. If I was to meet up with anyone, I'd be a tad nervous/shy at first, but once a trust has been built, I'm very easy to get on with.

If you want to know more, just message me, and hopefully, we could work something out.

Talk soon,

Sincerely,

Alternative.

Lucky Star? My girlfriend's ring-tone is the theme song! Every time her phone goes off, it's like an explosion of high-pitched "cute."

My name is Rob. My screen-name is actually an anagram for my real name. My favorite subject is music. I love studying it, composing it, performing it, and most of all, listening to it.

I'm a major in music performance at my college. I play the tuba in several groups ranging from classical, to jazz, to trip-hop. I attend my area's SCA (A somewhat structured, international group dedicated to Medieval/Renaissance stuff) events on a regular basis.

I like obscure foreign TV shows & movies. Most of the "TV shows" are anime (Higashi no Eden, Sunabouzu, Paranoia Agent, etc...).
The movies include films like "Das Boot," etc...

I will admit that I get sucked into video games a lot. Usually ones like Fable, Oblivion, Morrowind, etc... Though my favorite games of all time happen to be the "Thief" series.

I love nature, canoeing, camping, and snowboarding. Most of all, I just love walking around outside.

Other interests:

Foreign Languages (Lately, it's been German and Japanese)
Sociology
Books (mostly Vonnegut).
Biology
Physiology
Psychology (I'll admit that I also hate this one)
Coffee
Coffee-shops (the atmosphere)
Anything that is colored "Green."
etc...

Hi, I'm Sam. I have light brown hair, blue eyes, an olive skin complexion. I love video games and could play them forever. My favorite foods are Asian pears, sugar snap peas, fresh watermelon, black cherries, baby carrots and granny smith apples. I was diagnosed with AS at the age of 5. I'm in a one on one program at school. I love music except religious due to my beliefs. There are so many dieties out there I don't know what to believe anymore. Oh, and I hate opera music as well. My favorite bands are The Birthday Massacre, Zeromancer, AFI and Kittie. I don't like to socialize with other girls and am kinda "one of the guys" even though I'm quite girly. My dream job is to be a makeup artist for the runway and photoshoots but would like to also be a florist or a cake decorator. I am not looking for dating/romance right now. I have other priorties. Bye!

My name is Dolores. I'm nineteen. I work with children part-time, even though I don't care for children, generally. I'm in love with a person who is terribly confusing, but somehow, seems to understand my difficulties and maybe even accepts them. Although he's with another girl. I like sundresses & flannel shirts. I do not wear make-up, only occasionally a bit of lip color. I play the electric bass, badly. I love the Smashing Pumpkins & Talking Heads. I do not believe in God. Though sometimes I still want to. I am terribly unorganized & am prone to social failure. I don't drive. I wear big, chunky boots. My favorite foods are macaroni & cheese, and sushi. I hate onions & the general population. And I drink.

I'm Leisa.
I'm forty years old.
I was diagnosed with AS at 11.
I also have temporal lobe epilepsy and sjstaad syndrome.
I have no creative side whatsoever, but am quite logical. I have two first class degrees, but am not being 'cocky' I couldnt function in either subject as a chosen career path.
I like to read, am interested in fiction and non fiction, but often get bored of stories unless they are gripping. I like medical texts, or maths, law, and ethics.
I watch TV occasionally, I like comedy, dry humour, and satire. My short term memory can be poor, but I can recall punchlines and gags somehow, but never make up my own!
I love music. I find expressing emotion hard, but I do get emotional. Music helps with this. I'm not a fan of rap, country, or pop. Anything else is good. metal and indie are my favourites.
I like to travel, and have been to the USA several times, to Mexico, South Africa, Namibia, throughout Europe, China, Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong.
I have had working relationships in the past. I tire people out though. I like routine and stability. I get worried easily. I find expressing emotion hard, even when I want to, its hard to think of the words to say. At my worst i am terribly indifferent, and very baffling.
As a friend and partner I am very honest and loyal.
Hard work huh ? :/

My name is Randy. I'm 31 years old, recently divorced, and a proud father of a lovely soon-to-be two year old daughter. I'm proudly serving in the Army, and recently two health care professionals have all but told me that I have AS and ADHD (mostly so the findings don't effect my future), which is something that I am finding is incredibly difficult to live with, but slowly learning to manage it one day and one struggle at a time.

 :D I'm a nerd, plain and simple. I love online gaming, and I'm a huge World of Warcraft nut. I could probably tell you almost anything about the game, recite the fights verbally, stats, etc, etc, etc. I'm a child of the 80s who grew up admiring Sylvester Stallone and Hulk Hogan, watching the likes of G.I. Joe, Transformers, all the Rocky and Rambo movies, He-Man, Knight Rider, the A-Team, Magnum P.I., and Miami Vice amongst other things. I've got an 80s collection amassing in my place with having DVDs such as the original Transformers and G.I. Joe movies, all Rocky and Rambo movies (even the new ones!), Willow, Labyrinth, and The Neverending Story. I got old school NES ROMs on both my computers and Emulators to run them. It flips people out that I would even spend time playing games that are 20 years or older, but heck, I love them! So if there is one thing I obsess about, it would have to quite possibly be the 80s. :D

I'm also a die hard sports nut. Whether it's baseball, football, hockey, soccer, basketball, etc., you can find me in front of a TV whenever sports are on. Heck preseason starts in a week! Yay! ^_^

I love pretty much any type of music, but have a definite preference of listening to techno, alternative, rock, and some classical perhaps. Just don't like opera though. And since I am a child of the 80s, hair bands rule!

Despite how I may write, I'm not all that educated. I pretty much only had three years of high school because of the fact that I went to an Emotional Support based school for a number of years before being mainstreamed into public school in my 10th grade year, which back then was incredibly painful at times, but decent, as I was almost totally oblivious to how being an Aspie affected things around me. Despite my shortcomings, I was able to graduate as a member of the National Honors Society, in the top 20 in my class, and fulfilled all major high school prerequisites for graduation in three years instead of four.

I'm always about trying new things and I have a tremendous capacity to learn. Over the years I've managed to learn how to weld, do some wood crafting, took some auto body, learned how to do front wheel alignments, and I could even mess with the various components of vehicles and repair almost anything minus the engine. One time I bled and refilled the brake line on my car on the phone after I replaced my brake pads. That's how easy it was for me. Then there was this technology thing where everything went digital and computerized. . . . .

I'm terrible at managing and working with people, but put me in a cubicle with tons of stuff to do and systems to run and I can go all day and night because of the limited social interactions I have to have on a daily basis. I can track and memorize and crunch more numbers, statistics, and quote various regulations without even blinking. Using Microsoft Office is like second nature to me. Heck, some at work have actually referred to me as Rain Man. I've got more duties and responsibility in my pinkie than any of my peers and even some of my superiors, but in aspects that mostly deal with admin type functions. With troops, I can train them all day on pretty much anything I've mastered, but the art of managing them, their egos, and leading them has always been an issue. Between not being able to effectively coach and lead them due to my social awkwardness and my tendency to routinely speak over everyone's heads, it has made training and leading them very undesirable.

Socially, especially with women, I'm a total misfit. But I more than make up for it with raw determination and the will to win despite any odds placed in front of me, an incredible work ethic, and a heart of gold, which more times than not just flat out gets taken advantage of, used, and abused over and over again. Eventually I hope to break the vicious cycles through continued learning and bettering myself. My biggest fear is eventually opening up to anyone who gets close to me due to the fact I'm always afraid that revealing anything that can be perceived as derogatory will scare people off.

Thanks for reading and I hope this wasn't too long!

Randy

I'm Craig and I'm forty years old.
I was diagnosed with PTSD at 26, clinical depression at 31 and eventually (yay!) atypical Aspergers a few months ago.
I have a very creative side but am also extremely logical. It means that whilst my colleagues from uni have gone on to do great things with their careers, I struggled for years in the corporate rat-race, realised I didn't get it and have been my own boss for eight years.
I love to read, and have been a contributing author on a number of textbooks in my field (financial mathematics).
I watch TV but prefer radio 4 (talk radio, to our non-UK cousins). I love comedy and have done a couple of open mic nights. My short-term memory is a little crappy but my long-term memory is, to quote my father, "incredible", my first memory being of being around a year old.
I travel with work and in the past five years have travelled to and lived in China, the middle east, Russia, the Czech Republic and west Yorkshire (I now live in London).
I get worried easily. I find expressing emotion hard, even when I want to, its hard to think of the words to say.
At my best I appear to be baffling; at my worst - well, I was divorced after sixteen days of marriage three years ago. Does that say a lot?

I'm Scott, from Carlisle PA. I have brown hair hazel eyes, 200lbs 5'10". My special interests include comic book inking, video games, computers and cars( especially my car). I am fascinated with Hondas and the way they can extract such high amounts of hp out of such small displacement engines. My B16B has 175 at the wheels, meaning 200hp at the crank. What that means is, it is putting out more than 100 hp per liter. 1.6 liter. Anyways, I was DX'ed at the age of 30( 2 years ago). I also love to cook( nothing near Gordon Ramsay's expectations) but I LOVE to experiment in the kitchen. I also love animals, especially my cat, Diva. She is a doll. I also love old Transformers, and I have decent collection of the recent Transformers Binaltech/Alternators line( 1/24 scale cars that look like scale models). I also have some of the Masterpiece collection as well. I cannot think of anything else at the moment, so I will turn it over to the next person in line, lol...

Crap, I didn't see that someone replied to this. D:

I love the mass amount of cuteness in the show. It makes me happy. ^_^

People please access http://www.arrse.co.uk/wiki/Craig_Colclough

This man faked his way into the army, is a bigamist and has masqueraded as a doctor. I know this because I worked for medical services in the army at the time. He has even been on the TV recently, as part of the Fake Britain series. I dunno what his agenda is here but I have emailed Alex, and the man himself, voicing my concerns. There is more but have gone to Alex with everything, I guess this post might get removed, but.... there are vulnerable people here :/ ?

My name's Josh. Soon to be 21 in November. English major in Eugene, OR. Interests include philosophical quotes, Bob Dylan, TV/film, and the Portland Trailblazers. Do enjoy listening to different genres of music and being involved in the local art scene but not that involved.

Despite nihilistic tendencies, I do plan on saving the world a couple times in my life.

My dream job would be to write pretty damn good scripts in TV or Hollywood. Favorite screenwriter is currently Charlie Kaufman.

Despite joining campus demonstrations and protests pertaining to lefty organizations, I plan on becoming an Army Ranger in the 75th Ranger Regiment.

I often quote lines because that's the best way I can communicate.

My parents are immigrants and, at heart, nothing more than farm folk trying to live life. If only my dad knew how much more of an aspie he is than I am.

Besides being 65% water, I'm also currently 40% Hipster, 28% arrogant, 12% self-confident/self-proclaimed genius, 10% vacant, 8% bored, 2% milk.

Think of me as Fry from Futurama living in a Michael Cera film while trying to act like Don Draper but then ending up being read like a spineless Vonnegut character.

I used to live for music.

I'm Crystal, I am 15 years old, and I was diagnosed with aspergers earlier this month. I have learning disabilities, along with a congenital heart defect. Neither of these stop me from what I love to do in life. The things I love to do most in life is hanging with my best friend, drawing Simba, playing on the computer, and of course watching The Lion King.

I have been obsessed with TLK, and I am on over 4 TLK forums. My mother thought I had aspergers syndrome, hence my repetitive behaviors with TLK. I draw TLK over and over, I watch it over and over, so much that I have the whole script in my head, and I can recite it word for word. I memorized all the songs, I know all of the songs as well. I have to have it in my life because if I don't, I wont' feel like myself. Not only is it part of my aspergers, but it has impacted my life more than anything.

In general I am a very nice person. Through life, making friends was one of the most challenging things for me. I always think that people do not want to talk to me because of who I am. I sometimes think that most hate me, since I am almost always alone at school. But here I am, in love with a man, and I have nice friends. I sometimes still think this, but I try to make eye contact with people, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

But I am happy with who I am, and I accept my disabilities.

I draw, write, and compose.
I have an INCREDIBLY sick sense of humor and I will pretty much laugh at any offensive joke you can throw at me.
I am a Libertarian
