Wells first off let me say I'm mostly posting this to take up time and partially for the whole "in case" thing, you know in case I meet someone interesting whos...well interested. lol.

Hmmmm....
Firstly my name is Ryan, I am a 22 year old male/creature living in the orange county area of california.
I was first diagnosed with AS in my early to mid-teens after many...many failed and awkwardly false attempts to figure out exactly what was wrong with me. But Thats not exactly why your reading this, so more about me (I'm usually not so self-absorbed as to say that in person lol)

My build could be described as tall, with a little bit of extra weight. Which I've been told I carry well, whatever that means. I tend to dress in alot of black cause I enjoy it.
My interests include music, movies, horror, fantasy, sci-fi, interesting little shows on the history channel like Modern Marvels, sociology, philosophy (although I only like talking it in certain moods), video games, and tattoos/piercings of which I have several.

I am a rather nice person I think, I try to see everything from an even perspective though I'm aware everyone's view on things is at least mildly tainted by previous prejudices.
I am fairly accepting of most anything and love finding beauty in unexpected or odd places. (I tend to find it alot as an aside)
In case it needed to be said, yes I am single. I've been working on trying to meet people lately and I've found that I go out with that in mind and I don't even make the effort lol.
I don't know, I used to be better at conversing with people I think I'm just at a little bit of a wierd spot in my life where I'm not so well in that regard.
Other than that I'm not depressed or unstable or anything as that might make it sound.
Wow thats a really bad way to end something like this, but I can't think of anything else right now so thats what you got.

When is someone going to post on here who is female, between 36 and 50?

Preferable someone who hasn't got an Asparval and would like one!

There's one here going spare.

(What a waste)

That was my brutal honesty kicking in. In light of the above humorous (and sarcastic?) comment, I should mention that I meant before marriage. Premarital chastity matters to me enough that I thought it fitting to refer to, albeit in a rather subtle way.

Seriously, though - there's nothing like holding mon chérie to put me on Cloud Nine.

Male
16 going on 17(I'm sure I've heard a song with those exact same words somewhere)
Ethnicity- White
Country- UK

Now, I'll tell you a little about myself. :) If you're a 15-17 year old single girl in the UK or US/Canada, just read, please.

My name's Alex, I'm a 16 year old guy, who lives in England.
I'm somewhat emotionally hardened on the outside, but I have a heart of gold given the right circumstances. Let's say that I have endured quite a bit.

I have aspirations... I want to rise to the top, and I'd love a gal to experience that with- of course, excuse my foolish hopes and dreams, but it's up to me to make those dreams reality. I see a lot wrong with humanity, and yet I still have faith in it. I'm not desperate, either. I just want to give it a chance.

I'm very opinionated, although my opinions seem confusing at times. I'm intelligent enough to see loads of things, though I'm not so sure about emotions. I give it a try when I want to. I guess I ditched my last and only online "girlfriend" because it wouldn't have worked out in the end.

Just ask me a question, I love questions and talking at times, I like to find out new things. Sadly, AS gets in the way sometimes.

Right, now to my interests!

I like all sorts of things- learning new information, films, I used to draw alot, I read very frequently(both books and other sources), as well as video games(of course). The amount of things I'm interested goes beyond mention, so I'll spare you the list. Knowledge is power, mind you.

What I like in a girl:

Personality and character-Friendship, trust, intelligence, emotional wellbeing, happiness.

Physical- It matters somewhat... but it's not crucial. I prefer the feminine, chubby, figure myself, if I had to say something. Healthy and cuddly>Bones. :D

Finally...

I'm very understanding, and patient enough. As you've already guessed, I'm also more than a tiny bit eccentric and damn weird. No job, I have the willpower to get one, but I'm fearful of how badly I could screw up if I don't do my best.

Yes, you can add my MSN if you want.

[email protected].

God, if a femme actually messages me over this, I will laugh my head off and get myself a girlfriend, then date her over the internet... wait.

I am also in that club, but I am becoming more proactive if I see someone who looks interesting.

Yay!

I think aspie guys' biggest handicap in the dating arena is the fact they don't take initiative, in a world where women expect men to take the initiative.

It goes even deeper for me. I had the object of my desires
basically taking the initiative, and I STILL managed to drive
her off. We still wistfully exchange "I love you's" when we
meet. But, she has someone now, and my time is failing.

It's a matter of finding someone who I am actually interested in. I do know what kind of person I am looking for.
