-trying to argue a person reacts to a situation as any/all other people is as stupid as saying we all like spicy food.

As a result, he is guaranteed to try acting like a creepy dick to a woman who does have self-esteem, and get slapped. Or he'll have successfully identified a woman who hates herself just as much as a pickup artist does, and still manage to be creepy due to the noticeable delay in interaction while he reviews the conversational flowchart.

An NT trying to be a pickup artist is a douche. An aspie trying to be a pickup artist is an incompetent douche.

My advice: avoid the advice of people who hate women, and listen to what women actually say they find attractive and non-threatening.

I completely agree that us Aspies should not listen to pick-up artist because we can not pull it off sense it does not come natural to us but asking women what they like has never worked for me. Lots of the women I've talked to say they want a sensitive guy who treats em nice but whenever a guy like that ask em out; they turn him down & instead go out with jerk & then those women have the nerve to run to the nice guy for emotional support to complain about the jerk they are with. Lots of women tell me that I'm a great guy & that I need to be myself but none of those women are willing to go out with me because thy do not like me in that way. If I was such a nice guy as they claim & being myself was that great; those women would be willing to give me a chance but they are not

This is because most people prefer the comfort of avoiding confrontation than actually helping you. Can't really blame them. We all have our own happiness to care about.

"you're a nice guy" and "be yourself" are ways to avoid being harsh.

For anyone giving this kind of advise. What if you stood a chance to earn 1 million dollars if you could get the nerdiest guy you've even seen laid in a week by an attracted woman (no hookers). He had to do everything you said in order to make this happen. Would you instruct him to be himself, or would you throw politeness out the window and force dramatic changes?

If it were me, you wouldn't even recognize him by the end of that week.
