then you're not gonna get anywhere, you can't expect the world to simply conform to your demands because you want them too
I have seen it all to much here, you will realize this one day-or not, and will be miserable forever

I didn't want to get rid of the things I liked, and you know what I took a leap of faith, dressed more normally (though still kept my own individuality in my clothes), yes I kept my hair long but I wash it once a day(when I shower) and rinse it again at the end of the day, and of course talked to people, people who had similar interests
and I've made some great friends, and had some really fun experiences
there is high and low times but my progression in the past year has been really well, and it took me awhile to learn this, but I learned and I am happy
you aren't listening to anything-just whining, wanting everything and offering nothing

I think some of you people need to go back and read though the thread. I've tried this stuff already in the past. It might work for a few weeks, but after they get to know you and how you act they start to treat you the same as everyone else. It's pointless and hopeless. They will never accept me.

fine, then we can just say "we told you so"
but we are not gonna sit here, and coddle you while you whine constantly about not having a girlfriend because you gave up!

What do you mean "more indepth" ? What other reasons would a person want to have a girlfriend, significant other, etc.

I agree with you. People have made me bitter because they treated me like crap. I'm now only nice to certain people and if they deserve it. Before people get on my case about what I agreed with, understand this: I am not responsible for other peoples opinions about me.

When you act the way you have acted, I am stumped that you are suprised that people havn't listened to any advice that you have put forward.

You didn't have to post in this thread if you didn't want to. You don't have to be rude and be evil like the people outside.

I never said anything bad about you or to you.

People are just getting frustrated because you won't help yourself.
The world won't change for you. It never will. It won't change for me, it won't change for him, or anyone.

Either accept that you're going to be lonely forever or take peoples advice offered here.

Not everybody can help themselves. If you think they can, Hale Bopp, then lets see if a legless man can run a race. Can he do that to help himself? You'd probably say yes.

Stupid analogy. No-one is telling him to do anything like that. That'a like asking someone to levitate to get a ball down from a roof.
Taking a shower is not hard, and if it is, there is medication that can help obsessive thoughts and sensory issues, or whatever is causing his poor hygene.
