Its really easy to say "If you don't like their hobby don't partake in it", this place doesn't have an ignore list any more, it used to and it was a shame it was taken away.

Are you saying the rest of us should have to post less because the sexist whiners want to whine? I really want the ignore list back, theres at least 10 people I want to put on it.

You seem to enjoy baiting those types the OP mentions. I think they enjoy it, or at lead feed off of it.

The complainers wants attention and there are more than enough people to indulge them.

Ignore them, and I think they'll go away.

Just image a full post of whining that they took a half hour to write getting no replies.

people tried ignoring them
they don't go away
it gets worse
far worse...

They won't go away because you say so, its the Internet.

Do you think your post will have any effect at all and make them go away?

The greatest conceit an internet forum poster can have is that their post has any significance whatsoever.

With that spirit in mind I will cease my attempt at trying to convince you otherwise.

you saying to people that your life is so much worse then theirs and how no one knows what its like
when you have no god damn clue, is horribly insulting!
there are a lot worse off people who did a lot more with themselves with less
and you have the balls to say how bad you have it and feel you're the only one in the world with problems
And they're free to talk about their problems all they want. That's the point of this forum to begin with. On one hand, it's understandable to be pissed at all the folks that post misogynistic woman-hating threads here. In fact, I have a problem with all the hate threads that have cropped up around here lately. That includes this thread... it might not be woman-hating, but it is definitely a hate thread, pure and simple.

I am just sick of people like you, and other sexist ass holes running around, freely insulting people as they like

I think the people who this thread is directed at deserve it
you can think what you want about me, I couldn't care less
but I know (and have seen) that there is obviously a lot of people who share my opinion about a lot of people and the general sexist altitude here, prove me wrong

I guess I can understand where you're coming from on that. I'd be one of those that dislikes the sexism... you'll notice that I don't make those sweeping generalizations about an entire gender. Most of the time I just talk about my own issues. But apparently now I'm not allowed to talk about those either, according to your "everybody that doesn't agree with me should shut up" rule...

you completely missed my point
my point was, you are insulting because you believe (and say) how no one understands you, and how you seem to think your problems are worse then everyone elses
you never take anyone's advice and spit in their faces afterwards
you are a leech

there is nothing wrong with wanting help-but you don't want help, you just want to be coddled
thats my problem with you

its all there in black and white, but I know you'll twist it around or run off like you always do

I knew that at some point, this thread would end up with someone calling someone else a poopyface. And now, it has happened.

It seems like a lot of people on here (men and women) like to argue about arguing, then it turns into 10 page arguments. The irony.

People have the right to their opinions as long as they aren't obnoxious or malicious about it.

It seems some of the women on here see "Oh, a negative thing about women and dating" and then jump on it even if the person says they aren't talking about all women and just addressing a certain group of women and being reasonable and not hostile about it.

Granted, there are some men on here that are legitimately out of line and sound like they're one step away from pulling a George Sodini over not having a girlfriend or getting rejected or not having sex. That should be the real concern, not just when someone says "Some beyond hot women are snobby in some cases."

I myself bash men just as much as I bash women. I don't hate either gender, I'm just a cynic.

And little do you know, I'm good friends with Toad. We talk just about every day on aim. He's actually nothing like he is on the board.

As for Tim...I don't think I'm the only one that has similar opinions.

You don't get it - I don't care if you like them or hate them. Your incessant preoccupation with everybody else's business and private life if what I find interesting.

Why do the threads about legitimate advice get ignored, but the sexist stuff gets tons of replies?

Because people love a good scene.
Just look at the people who crowd around someone making a scene on the street.

Oh, thank God that someone made this thread.
It used to be worse here- in my early days in the forum, there was a guy who more than once expressed the opinion that all women deserved to be raped, and noone batted an eyelid- but when a female poster made a thread expressing frustration with men (it was entitled "I hate men", but the actual content was fairly mild) it got jumped on and locked for being sexist, and that type of thing was fairly typical of the forums at the time.

That's awful. I'm glad I wasn't around for that. D:
