Im trying to lose weight at the moment. trying to lose 20 pounds, have so far lost about 5 pounds, diet is going well though it is a strange sort of diet which involves eating cake every day and exercising quite a bit, mostly core and weight bearing exercises. I find I am putting on muscle, my clothes are getting bigger but not much has showed up on the scales....
Your waist circumferance is far more important then what you actually weigh in terms of your risk for health complications. It's also a far better indicator of "Sustained" weight loss.
5 pounds can simply be excessive water that has drainned from your body tissue. Not to put a downer on your good work or 'ought

I've been up to 215, back down to about 175 now, not to toot my own horn (TOOT, freakin TOOT) and never got a tummy-
wonder how much I'd have to gain to get one.
I don't wanna speak for Zen Mistress, but I'm thinking she's smart enough to weigh herself at a similar time during the day,
when she's been to the little girl's room already.
