I'd politely recline. Even if I was "Bi" or whatever.

I think you meant "decline", but if not, this is a hilarious joke!

Yeah I meant to say decline. That was around 5:00 AM and I was typing with one eye open.

Could you realistically see yourself ever hanging out with, let alone dating a person I'm about describe. You probably wouldn't even want to be in a room alone with a person for an extended period of time.

The person is extremely ugly to begin with, and you can tell he's pretty slow and stupid by the way he acts, talks, and looks. His social skills are pretty jacked up, he spaces out at times and stares at random objects without knowing.

Here's the main thing; He has no knowledge and can't debate anything related to: politics, philosophy, art, evolution, religion, history, science, etc. The person knows this and keeps trying bring up his interests to start a conversation. Anime, video games, and random stuff happening on tv or the web.

I mean wouldn't you get very irritated, annoyed, and repulsed at the simple-mindedness of this person and try to avoid him at all cost?

Add that the person is a poor, friendless, uneducated (sped) hermit that still lives with his parents. Also, he can barely bathe himself and lives off SSI and foodstamps.

Wouldn't most women here consider a person like that a pathetic dumb loser that has no shot in hell at getting a date?

Sounds like my perfect match.

Uh, I don't know how to respond to this. Are you mocking me? Or just being sarcastic and trying to be funny.

No, not mocking you. Just don't think you should be down on yourself. I do have stuff in common with you: I've tried to live on my own and can't, so now I live with my Mom. I'm in the process of applying for disability and don't know what I'll do if I get turned down. I often stare at things and totally drift away from the people around me. I enjoy talking about TV - especially reality shows (which I know is sad.) And I'm not the most cleanly person in the world.

Just don't judge yourself too harshly.

Oh ok

I'm similar situation as you, except I have disability. I received a noticed about it a few months ago for reevaluation. (I've been receiving it since i was five) I've heard that they'll cut you off if you haven't been to the doctor in a while. (I haven't been in a few years) I'm probably going to start back visiting the behavioral mental heath hospital near my area. I've been going to this hospital since I was 9, but since I haven't been in a few years, I'm going to have to get resigned up.

W/O my check, my grandma wouldn't be able to pay half the bill and she wouldn't be able to get medicine for my sister, who doesn't have SSI.

The main thing that has me worried is what will happen when my grandma (pray it won't happen for a while, she's 63) passes away. What would happen to me? I don't think I can live on my own and take care of myself, I might be homeless. More importantly, what would happen to my sister? Who would look after her? Who would drive her to the doctor and how would she afford her medicine w/o SSI? I really hope she doesn't end up in the state mental hospital like our mom.

We could end up with a sleazy relative that could try and take advantage of me for my disability.

I worry about what I'll do when my Mom's gone. I know I can't take care of myself on my own. Maybe your sister could try again for SSI; then the two of you could stick together and look after each other; although I hope your grandma has a long and happy life.

By the way, someone who looks after their sister and their grandma is neither pathetic nor a loser.
