California is worse than Seattle as far as cost of living, the UC campuses cost $114,000 and the Cal State campuses cost $65,000 and getting into any of them is virtually impossible.

Have you even decided exactly on where you want to go to school? Earlier I remember your mentioning Boise State and Montana, but now you mention Seattle/UW.

I chose Boise and Montana because they were cheaper. (Boise State costing $28,000 and Montana costong $30,000).

The socially liberal culture is what would draw me to Seattle. The interior western states are cheaper, but the west coast states are more socially liberal. Unfortunately, only two Pacific states were "affordable"--Alaska and Hawaii.

The idea of choseing a college based on your liklyhood of scoring is hillarious
I went to college got my degree I wanted
I didnt get any action but If I had chosen a different college and corse just to get laid would I really be happier than I am now?
I doubt it.

Any autistic condition is fine with me.

I DO give up. Only one Aspie woman that is single meets my criteria--AND I CAN'T DATE HER BECAUSE SHE'S UNDER 18!! !!

There was another Aspie woman who WAS a legal adult who met all my criteria, but she has since found somebody else.

BTW, neither of these women are on WP.

I have to ask, what is so important about having a gf with AS? Are normal people really that much harder to have a relationship with? I really do not know the answer.

Quote:
The age of consent in Texas is 17 {Texas Penal Code Section 21.11}. However , "...It is an affirmative defense to prosecution under this section that the actor...was not more than three years older than the victim and of the opposite sex...(and) did not use duress, force, or a threat against the victim at the time of the offense" and is not a registered sex offender {Section 21.11(b)}.

Section 21.12 further prohibits all sexual contact between an educator and student enrolled at the primary or secondary school where said educator works. No age is specified by the statute (thus, even if the student has reached consent age of 17, it is still a violation), and violations are a second degree felony.

The "affirmation" part means if they are under 17 and your not 3 years older(and of the opposite sex) your not likely to have any legal problems.

I would rather be safe and wait until she turns 18. I really wanted the one who already was legal, but unfortunately, she already has a boyfriend.

I am worried that only another Aspie will tolerate the fact that I will have a very limited income while I am going to school.

It depends on the area and culture, but a lot of NT women are perfectly happy with men who don't earn a lot.

My criteria for a potential girlfriend is:

1. She is an Aspie
2. She lives within 50 miles of Boise, ID, or is willing to do a long-distance relationship
3. She has the same interests as me
4. She is height-weight proportionate (meaning she is skinny and has an ample chest)
5. She has liberal views toward sex (meaning she is not waiting until marriage).

Criteria #2 aside, I have only come across two people who met all of the other criteria--one of them was not willing to do a long-distance relationship, and the other one was only 17 years old (in the U.S., the age of consent is 18).

If I add criteria #2, stating she must either live near Boise, or do a long-distance relationship, then my chances of meeting anyone is zero.

I give up

I know what you mean. As for the Boise situation, I found out that Idaho isn't really for me after finding out it was too socially conservative. If I can afford it, I might try to give Hawaii another shot--this might mean going to UH Hilo rather than UH Manoa (in Honolulu). If it's too expensive, I will probably stay in Texas.

I might try to see what happens as soon as that one girl turns 18, though.

How is being skinny and having a large chest "height weight proportionate"?. I don't understand that one. If you were prepared to consider ladies with a little more padding or a little less bosom that would increase your choice of mates.

I have no idea exactly what "height-weight proportionate" means, but I always thought it meant that she would look like a supermodel. If this is not accurate, what does HWP mean?
