LOL Ahhhh...but it's so true! The thing i said about my Nerd BF and my Aspie bf was that they BOTH made me LAUGH! I even stated that's how they won my heart!

Dont worry wolf, as has happened to me and others weve all been called misogynist pigs for saying things which in no way represented what that word means. Its mostly used around here as a way to denote a negative light on a person in order to make his argument (usually a valid one which is hard to beat) seem cast from someone evil. In the same way that political leaders are frequently compared to hitler and stalin and such. Im doubtful the ones using that word even understand what it means beyond a paper definition. I say we play a game from now on. Any and every time someone claims that another is a misogynist they must have valid proof beyond a single post taken out of context. If no factual evidence is given to this posters hatred/dislike/mistrust of all women then the person making such claim will be called out as being a whiner and excluded from the conversation for not playing by the rules. Sounds like a good plan eh?

i went back through the thread and i could not find any place where Wolfheart was called sexist or misogynistic. seem like you are defending him against something that didn't actually happen, MXH.

He made a reference to people implying it. So I pointed it out for him. I have not defended anyone in here. Simply stated the misuse of that word

you specifically stated that you an other men hav been called misogynistic pigs, which did not happen. you also took his statement at face value and made it sound as though he had been called one of those things. if anyone used the terms incorrectly, it would be him as he introduced it into this thread. however, no name-calling happened, nor did anyone even imply that his statements were sexist. so you were very quick to add some hyperbole to a situation that seem to be fictional

It has happened on this forum many times, to me personally once and i made sure she got the point. or must I bring up the PMs i sent another mod about it. I see a guy defending himself from being called bisogynist so i tell him whatthat word means in these parts. It in no case implies that i defend his actions, or anyone elses actions, or that I consider that word meaningless. Im simply stating what its commonly used for around here.

i have not seen any PMs of someone calling you a misogynistic pig. feel free to forward them. i have been called many, many derogatory things in PMs, including "feminazi", and i have been called a misandrist in this forum, publicly. so don't pretend for a moment that men are the only ones who get crap that they don't deserve, because it happens to anyone who speaks up about anything.

its been said in public, PMs were reporting it to a mod. And i know about you and others whove been called such things, its always by the same group of people that would actually deserve a negative badge. Im simply telling wolf how things go around these parts.
