If one of my friends were to tell me this I would be okay with it. The problem is when someone I'm interested in tells me this. Makes me feel like "you'll find someone but that someone is not me". Kind of like a passive aggressive thing I suppose. A nice way of saying "Go find someone else". I've had that said to me and it still stings a bit when I think about it.
