you are very right, Gamestar... my heart is tangled and twisted up all in this....i'm trying to give him a second chance... but it seems like somedays he wants it and other days he doesn't want it (maybe because some days he's on with his girlfriend and other days he's off? hmmm...and if thats true thats certainly not fair of him.... it would sort of be like he's two-timing his girl and me....

Has this been proven that Aspies thrive on the internet? cause I'm Aspie and I'm a rather sociable person who spends as much time in the virtual world as I do in the real time world.

I can honestly admit its not just Aspies- I used to be on the internet a lot because I was afraid that the way I really am inside and out- someone wouldn't accept me as well as they would online... i think its a general thing with people, honestly, we want to meet people and not feel like we have to pretend to be someone different in person... online you can be anything or anyone you want and nobody can limit you....

Shedevil, whilst I agree with you here, I think that you have forgotten something, where the heart goes in all of this. you NT think with your emotions, we AS think with our minds, and I think on both specturm. I say this, because sometimes all is needed is a second chance that may just turn out to be the best thing, becuase it's needed after the cooloff)

I agree with you Gamestar.... i think this time we might work if we both wanted to try and love each other enough... we were both younger when we started together and i think that might've caused a lot of problems in how we related with one another... and he knows how i feel about this other man... i don't think he's so happy but i'm a honest person and i didn't want to lead him on if at all possible. i really care about both of them a lot... and theres still a lot of love there for my ex so i'm not even sure about anything anymore...

As stated that Caramel's friend is NT, this might be even better, because if Caramel's friend can talk to this guy and get the information, without letting on to the guy that's its for her, then there's a chance that this guy may realize that Caramel may be the right one, instead of the other woman

i'm actually not entierly sure whether she was attempting to sabotage me or was trying to help me....she kind of found out he had
an online girl and then said some crap about other fish in the see and that i can still ask him for coffee and be his friend and i was like, "Whaaa? thats exactly what i don't want to be...." Its either yes or no.... i don't just sit in the middle of the fence and be somebody's friend....All i know is that if this doesn't pan itself out by the time christmas comes then its done... i hate going into the new year with excess emotional baggage because i like to have a fresh start each time and hope that things go differently but better...does this sound sensible and reasonable? I'm not entirely sure when i started needing "closure" at the end of each year but it really does wonders when you're attempting to turn over a new leaf....

I hope that i did.... i'm going to keep trying to take baby steps which will probably be harder than it sounds but its worth it.... lol i think NT's problems stem from we expect people to know what we mean by how we act and by what we say and sometimes its not as cut and dry for everyone...NT's even have trouble - A LOT of trouble, being understood by other NT's.... but in general i think being humans, all of us, puts us all at a disadvantage because were all so fickle, and have so many desires, dreams, and wishes... i think humans have a lot to work out....
