Because normal women are drawn to a normal alpha guy with loads of friends and connections. A socially defective Aspie is highly unlikely to be able to provide that.

ok all of a sudden this forum has turned into a debate between two bloggers who have nothing to do with this story im following. Ive bee reading this topic like a movie script and I am fascinated with how things have progressed. Its friday and I am bored as heaven on bingo night. Anything happen. if not on the not a thought on subtly versus being blunt. I think there is a way to be blunt but discreet at the same time. Blunt that you want to hang out with him and get to know him discreet as in the way you go about it. my thought is perhaps you should socialize on his ground/ turf /terms whatever one can call it i.e his place. where he lives, where he goes to have a good time etc. besides the gym because clearly he has only one goal in mind when he is there. if he is comfortable then you are comfortable knowing he is at ease in his element . that is my 2 cents

This is usually the scenario for me and I am sure it is with 97% of the other aspies out there.



Me: since we been together for a couple months and I love you enough and trust you enough to tell you this but I am afraid it might end the relationship!

GF: Its ok sweety you can tell me anything, I love you so much!

Me: ok...well here it goes..........Im an aspie.

GF: I had no idea.....

Me: do you still love me?

GF: Of course silly!

2 days later

GF: honey theres something I need to tell you

Me: What is it?

GF: Its not you its me!

And so he walks off sadly alone forever after in shut down mode!

I just realized that I tend to like it when women chase me because just about every relationship the women make the first moves also I tend to be a little goofy but shy in person. :oops: :oops: :oops: :oops: I know I'm weird like that. :roll: :roll: I tend to be very animated at times and sorta have the personality of an anime character hehe.

I was just told I was extremely animated! I know I am but my friend just told me that, along with the fact that I remind him of an animated character in general. Hahaha and I'm a chaser! Although recent events have made me change my ways.
