It's also the delicate hold on the camera, the wide-open flowery shirt, and the shape of the facial hair. ;)

I dunno if it'sm accomplishment or if it's people see me bulldozing my way towards my goals and realize that I am too stubborn to give up

gosh, thanx :) dunno what to say about all that niceness :compress: and that was a weird jacket [not a shirt] I was wearing in the pic, I found it at goodwill [seattle] and it just stood out at me on the rack of other suit jackets, so I snapped it up. it is some kind of bluish quasi-paisley pattern, I haven't found any other jackets like it.

I wish I had the energy... I need that... I just have the perseverance... I have a goal, and I will be damned if I am going let anything stop me

it seems to me you already have the energy, otherwise you wouldn't been able to bulldozer your way to your goals. much of the time I feel neutered and unable to summon the wherewithal to do much of anything. I suspect I have low T [i'm an old man, so that is to be expected].

Perhaps... sometimes I am just so... so exhausted... but...I've been complacent... and my only choices are to be miserable where I am or make progress.

A colorful turn of phrase... I have just gotten tired of listening to people complain about the fact that people are waiting "for their big break." I decided to make it happen

mine was to "step up to the plate" [instead of chickening out like i'd normally do] when a very rare [once in decades] opportunity arose for me to have my very own sweetie  right here on WP :o and speaking of colorful turns of phrase, one never really wants to light a match right after getting off the pot. ;)
