That's perfectly normal.

I think you misread my post. :P

Exactly. That's why I feel everyone would be negatively affected. The reason I brought up homosexuals is because it would especially hurt their community besides other groups. And the socially conservative Republicans would love such an idea. Not that I'm accusing you as one.

Oh OK, I misunderstood what you were saying then. I don't think it really would have a worse affect on gay people really, I rarely see gay people kissing in public anyway. I don't actually believe we should seriously ban it though, I was just making the point that I really dislike seeing people kissing in the street. And thank you for not accusing me of being a Republican; I am not straight myself, so I'm not homophobic. :)

I didn't misunderstand it just gave my own twist to it 8)
Btw why doesn't this forum have a hash smiley, much better than the guy with sunglasses.

I just mean, I don't prefer seeing men kissing, I'd just rather see to average looking men than two ugly straight people. I'd rather see two girls if I had to see any though.
I don't know why. I like the guy with the sunglasses. :D

I think anyone kissing in public is straight up nasty. Last year this asian dude made out with his unattractive girlfriend in front of my locker every goddamn day. I would've kicked his ass but then it would've been a hate crime.

Are you serious ?????! !! !! !
Can they call it a hate crime if you just beat someone up with another skincolour ?
Don't you actually have to say you hate asians for it to be a hatecrime ?
Seems crazy to me if that's really true.

I was doing the same thing a few times, except I'm Caucasian, and I did it in a cafe. I had a girlfriend a few months ago, and like the one in your example, she wasn't much to look at either. (Then again, I'm an ugly guy, so it's not like I had a choice; I did like her, though.) Anyway, I was with her in a cafe. There were comfortable couches you could sit on. We were sitting and cuddling in the back somewhere, when all of a sudden, we started making out like crazy, (read: without letting go for ten minutes), even thought it was a crowded night. It's been four months since that day, and I haven't gone back to that place since.

I think that, more than anything, is what irritates some people. I don't mind, hell, I don't even notice, if it is just a quick kiss, something like that. I can even appreciate possible reasons people would wind up doing more. I just don't want to be forced to see more, and if a couple's going to do that much, they might as well head home and have the ability to do as much as they'd like.

Yep, that's how it works in the good 'ol USA. The government accuses everyone else of being racist at whatever chance they get to make themselves look less racist. It's a real slam-dunk of American logic!

Not always the government. At times it is the lawyer, or the Al Sharpton / Jesse Jackson types. (Before someone gets a chance of yelling "THAT'S RACIST," every race...hell, every group has that type of people.)

kissing in public...

Yeah it's gross but i'm just jealous.

I know because when I'm in a relationship, it no longer bothers me that people do this.

And I've done lots more than just kiss in public so who am i to be such a hypocrite?

I find it to be annoying, I remember when I was in NYC and in a subway I saw a couple going at it, I wanted to shove them both onto the tracks :x

The said girlfriend was my first one ever; I've never had one before. So when the kiss happened, I well... didn't care what people thought. All I could think was: "yeah, she's not much to look at, but at least she likes me." Another thing is that she lived all the way across town with a roommate, and I live with my parents, so "heading home" was out of the question.

Not like I can say anything, far better than "I did what at the bar while blacked out drunk?"

Don't you feel like this about everyone though?

I just have such mixed feelings.
If they're attractive, I don't mind,
and kind of wish that I had the
guts to just stare.
