Oh OK, I misunderstood what you were saying then. I don't think it really would have a worse affect on gay people really, I rarely see gay people kissing in public anyway. I don't actually believe we should seriously ban it though, I was just making the point that I really dislike seeing people kissing in the street. And thank you for not accusing me of being a Republican; I am not straight myself, so I'm not homophobic.

I didn't misunderstand it just gave my own twist to it

Btw why doesn't this forum have a hash smiley, much better than the guy with sunglasses.

I just mean, I don't prefer seeing men kissing, I'd just rather see to average looking men than two ugly straight people. I'd rather see two girls if I had to see any though.
I don't know why. I like the guy with the sunglasses.

I was doing the same thing a few times, except I'm Caucasian, and I did it in a cafe. I had a girlfriend a few months ago, and like the one in your example, she wasn't much to look at either. (Then again, I'm an ugly guy, so it's not like I had a choice; I did like her, though.) Anyway, I was with her in a cafe. There were comfortable couches you could sit on. We were sitting and cuddling in the back somewhere, when all of a sudden, we started making out like crazy, (read: without letting go for ten minutes), even thought it was a crowded night. It's been four months since that day, and I haven't gone back to that place since.

I think that, more than anything, is what irritates some people. I don't mind, hell, I don't even notice, if it is just a quick kiss, something like that. I can even appreciate possible reasons people would wind up doing more. I just don't want to be forced to see more, and if a couple's going to do that much, they might as well head home and have the ability to do as much as they'd like.

Yeah it's gross but i'm just jealous.

I know because when I'm in a relationship, it no longer bothers me that people do this.

And I've done lots more than just kiss in public so who am i to be such a hypocrite?

I find it to be annoying, I remember when I was in NYC and in a subway I saw a couple going at it, I wanted to shove them both onto the tracks

The said girlfriend was my first one ever; I've never had one before. So when the kiss happened, I well... didn't care what people thought. All I could think was: "yeah, she's not much to look at, but at least she likes me." Another thing is that she lived all the way across town with a roommate, and I live with my parents, so "heading home" was out of the question.
