don't give in to the dark side, you can only go with one team- either the mammon team [dark side, all the foul mercenary things of earth] or the light team [the good guys who wish to transcend the limitations of earth]. if you go with mammon you stay down with mammon until the end. resist.
The dark side in the Bible Belt: crappy pop country music, lame churches, dive bars, celebrity gossip, cheap beer, crappy cigarettes, yellow paged books, gobs of snot on the ground, public urination, heart attack inducing food, roadkill, domestic violence, teenage pregnancy, STDs, smell of gasoline everywhere, and Wal-Mart.
I love how all that no-sex-before-marriage BS leads to a higher rate of teen pregnancy. I delight in the irony that they caused the very thing they were trying to avoid.

Since I was 21 but that relationship was very short lived. It was also pure luck it happened, no traditional customs were taken.

Bible Belt people in general suffer from chronic inability to keep it in their collective pants. The constant preaching of "No pre-marital sex! Save it for marriage!" just makes sex more mysterious to them and their hormones kick in harder the more they try to put it off.

Probably not. They think applying the same process over and over again will produce a different result. They also tell me that God has a plan for me. I don't buy into religious dogma anymore.

I find "being yourself" confusing. When I tell others I am naturally shy and anxious after they tell me to be myself, they say "No, don't do that."

If 2017 isn't my year, I will probably snap.

I honestly can't remember how long exactly. Maybe two months at most and she was the initiator in it.

Even if you try to not be yourself, you're still the one choosing your words and actions so even if you try to be different to yourself, your words and actions are still being influenced by your own personality and taste.

Sometimes I try to try a slightly different persona but since I created the persona using my own personality and tastes I'm still being myself.
