Do you go for fat girls? They are usually the easiest to impress.

Perhaps they're the same type. Maybe it's not the women in your area, but how you see them.

In my experience, attractive (Especially the "hot" types) women generally already have a boyfriend or if they are single, they'll have a lot of men after them. I am honestly looking more for the "cute" and nerdy/geeky types but I either see them with a boyfriend/husband or I don't know where the single ones hang out because my area doesn't really cater to people like myself and them.

Why don't you spend more time outside your area then?

Hey, Boo, think you can start a counter for how many times this question has been asked in various ways?

Yeah because most people are more interested in an average-weight/fit partner so fat girls have less options. The same is true of fat guys.

He’s already said he doesn’t want to date the average overweight or pregnant redneck girls where he lives.

Well him being overweight himself is going to make that difficult. I find overweight people who think they are deserving of an average or slim partner to be quite self-centred. In my opinion people should be at least open to dating someone as overweight as them or not bother putting themselves on the dating market until they would accept a partner with an equivalent physique. If you find the physique unacceptable on a partner then you have no right to expect people to see past your own physique.

Fat women here and even super obese women here are just as picky as thin women here.
So it’s just as hard to impress them. Which I don’t get so their requirements are a thin athletic handsome man which a good job, car and his own place. Why wouldn’t such a man go for the thin women athletic women?

I never said I wouldn't date an overweight girl. If she wasn't a redneck or 'hoodrat', I would date her. I've even stated I don't care about dating someone who looks like a supermodel or cheerleader because the deck is stacked against me with those kinds of women.

Right. But what do you actually have available to you? Rednecks and hoodrats are people, too.

It’s none of my business who you date or what your preferences are. I had just enough negative experiences with bigger girls that dating one now would by far be the exception. All I’m saying is you can’t date what isn’t there. You might find it better to suspend judgment of larger girls, rednecks, hoodrats, cheerleaders, etc. until you’ve given enough of them an honest chance. Either that, or just decide not to date at all. Believe me, I’ve been at that point where eternal singlehood was MUCH better than what I’d been used to.

I know you said larger girls aren’t off the list necessarily and that you aren’t judging THEM per se. But we all have our preferences for our own reasons and nobody can tell you what those should be. But if some certain few preferences are painting you in a corner, it might be worthwhile letting SOME things go. Despite my aversion to bigger girls, there are those that don’t fit the usual personality type that I could defo find hawt. There’s one WP’er who is into anime, video games, and vocaloids that in another place and time I’d ask out in a heartbeat.

And what you find with local culture is often girls act the way they do to fit in. They’re all actually different. It just takes a lot of time and patience to find them. In the meantime, it takes nowhere near that amount of effort just to make friends.

You're missing my point about cheerleaders. Even if I did want one for a relationship, the odds are against me. Because of their looks, they have dozens of guys chasing after them and they'll most likely go for Chad instead of me.

Redneck women want redneck men and hoodrat women want 'gangstas' or 'thugs' so even with them I have no chances. I've lived long enough to know this and I've seen it myself.

And why do you think I would turn down an overweight girl who liked anime and video games? My first and only girlfriend was chubby and we had some common interests.

Yeah, but the rednecks and hoodrats are born into their circumstances, same as you. Ok, maybe hoodrats are so far out of your preferred culture to the point it might be dangerous, so I’ll give you that one. What you’re missing is that you don’t know EVERY cheerleader or every redneck.

Oh, and with cheerleaders... Where I teach, they NEVER cut anyone from the cheerleading team. And if they don’t make cheerleader, they make the dance team. Or if they get cut from dance, they make auxiliary in the marching band. And if they don’t spin flag, they stay in the clarinet line where guys like me will be waiting. That’s where you find your anime and vocaloid fans. The deeper in the section you go, the more of them you find.

Point being dating a cheerleader or cheerleader type isn’t the mark of prestige it used to be. Take nothing for granted.

I’m not suggesting you do something you don’t want to do. I just mean people aren’t always as they seem.

You’re the one passing judgment on girls who look like cheerleaders and supermodels. I’m just saying if those types are what’s available, there’s more to the story. If you don’t want me running with the cheerleader angle, don’t bring it up in conversation.
