I've felt the opposite effect, but it's mostly equal for me. I find that a few people of my sex are hostile or cold, while women are usually friendly and much easier to make conversation with.

I must say though, we are both finding the same sex distant :shrug:

Pretty much everyone except drug dealers are too distant, to me

But too close is bad too
