At the bar, hands down. There are many sex hungry people at the bar. A lot of shady people hang out at the bar.

Been there, done that. (Well, I didn’t really participate, but I observed the behavior with amusement from my seat at every convention.)

"The bar" makes it sound like there's just one in the world. There are bars where I definitely wouldn't look for a partner (or probably go at all), but others are not so bad.

Furry convention
Rehab clinic
Walmart

I'm not saying it's absolutely impossible to find a prospective partner in these places (you might meet a beautiful lawyer at a prison, or a reporter covering a Trump rally), but the odds are pretty low.

Ummmm I don't know anything about dating an such but, I'm afraid no one got it right. Worst places would be:

-Chernobyl. Specially reactor number 4. Specially Specially the basement directly below reactor number 4.
-13.000 ft below the atlantic
-Swimming in a waste water treatment plant 1st stage.
-Trapped in an iceberg
-Surface of the Sun
-In a Polar bear's stomach. Grizzly bear also.

Honorable mentions (where it wouldn't work at all except THAT one time):

-Inside one of those giant refrigerators for chickens and stuff.
-In a human meat butcher's shop
