Yeah, these dummies get married then I have to listen to all their wives moaning about the dead weight their stuck with.

People get married out of social pressure to be normal. I know a married woman who has never been in love. She just married the first guy who asked her out. No one had till she was in her 30s.

All I see of live and romance are people playing parts.

Well, not all, I do know some happily partnered people. But a lot of this pile of manure sucks even you can even get yourself past the gatepost anyway.

People marry for different reasons and have different objectives. A marriage that develops into a long-term parnership can be a very good one. Marriages metamorphosize with time. Passion changes to familiarity, respect and companionship, and yes often hate too. I have friends who have stuck it out for 40 years and I am envious of their ability to face life with a "united front."

A marriage of convenience suits some people, not everyone buys the Romeo and Juliette myth.
