Hello!

I am a slim 49 year old man, from West Sussex UK, a self diagnosed Aspergers.

Interests: (stuff I would put on a CV) Genealogy, karate, internet (websites and forum)
(for dating) 80s music, dancing, museums, art galleries

I would like to meet a non-smoker female aspie, geek, aged 18 to 40, for romance.

As an aspie, I am generally clueless about meeting people and making friends, small talk, and subletities of courting. Hence I can be direct without hinting, and would like my partner to be plain in the feelings. It is very important that my date does not smoke, as I don't smoke and I am very sensitive to tobacco smoke. It is also important that she is not heavy into politics. Other than that, I hope that we could share interests, and if one of us get bored, to clearly say so (for instance, I am unable to detect signs and body language of boredom).

:)

Me! =D I live just over the border in bristol and am only 2 years older then you, i sent you a Pm on Aspie Affection but you did nto respond =(

Well, duh
The whole point of dating sites is to create a profile, send out messages to a dozen people with interesting profiles, recieve messages from a dozen people who are wholly unappealing (at least one couple twice your age with unspeakable intentions), for about 2 months wonder why nobody ever replied to you ,for 6 months completely forget you have a profile , remember, log in, find a reply from one of the people you sent a message to... that was sent 5 months ago. Their status now says 'in a relationship'. Bugger.

If anyone can tell me how to make "View Profile" work on Aspie Affection, I will be one for online dating on that site, otherwise I find a more user friendly online aspie dating site...

Thanks in advance :)

See how much I rock. Guys even want women who have
been near me. Just think what screwing me would do.

Sounds like me when I was in high school. I would like to relive those days again.

Me neither. I was always the odd one out. The ladies didn't dig me at all, but then again most girls at that age are pretty immature, so no big loss.

Not me. I'd rather die a million deaths than relieve those years. Middle school was even worse.

It's one of the choices on the menu located on the far left of your screen.

It works fine for me...

I think I'm at that point where I'd rather just sweep some girl off her feet without her expecting it rather than through a dating site. It almost has to be unplanned and as much as I hate to project anything across a gender it seems like most women seem to hate canned anything when it comes to this; steals the specialness.

I'm at the point where I'd just be ecstatic to meet someone I could be happy with, who could be happy with me. That would be special enough all by itself; I don't care how it happens.

Yes I am well aware that "View Profile" is one choice in the menu to the left of the Aspie Affection screen. There is also a link "View Profile" beneath the image of a member. However, when i click on the link, there is no new webpage displayed, nor does a window appear. This is despite my turning off popup blocker in all three Norton Security, FireWall (ZoneAlarm), and both browsers (Firefox and IE). Javascript is enabled. I have posted twice to the website support, but have heard nothing.

Hm, weird. That works for me, too.
