I'm totally straight too.
And I made up my mind a long time ago not to ever move to the US because it is being torn apart from the inside because of insane politics, people being waaayy too patriotic and because it spends too much money on warfare.
Not that there's neccessarily anything wrong about being patriotic, but most americans that are visible in the news (which is the only ones I have to base my opinion on) are taking it too far (read: Tea Party, Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck).

Edit: I'm not sure if ArtemisHowl is in fact a woman or a man, but either way I haven't met him/her, so that'd be another reason.
