me and my boyfriend both have aspegers and we have loads in common. we are both still in high school and i think i might love him, as in i have never felt like this before. can high school relationships continue after high school? I really hope so because i really like this guy and i think he might be my soul mate. can anyone give me advice?

I'd say it depends where you want it to go after high school, you could try going to the same university (or whatever is the next level in the american school system) but if so you shouldn't have to sacrifice going to the same place for the sake of love (but that's just my priorities showing here... <.< ). I've never really been attached to much people and i still randomly run into some of them from previous schools and colleges i've been to. :p (ofc Montreal's an island, so whoever lives there is bound to randomly meet sooner or later. :p )

Short answer is: it can work but you'll have to put in effort.

It worked for us. This is not an advice, it's just what we did. We moved in together just after finishing highschool. I am very independent and at 18 I felt my parents were intefering in my life to much, even if it was always with best intentions. I could't wait to be an adult. He's family was abusive and he was more than happy to leave them behind. We went to different universities but in the same city. We married a year later, against the advice of our parents, friends and other relatives. This was 14 years ago.

Yes it can work. My grandma and grandpa were together in high school.
