And even if they were Jewish I'm not so sure they'd want to be loved for just there ethnicity or whatever.

And here's a tip: It would help if you had a pic of yourself and told what age you were.

I'm curious. Is this need to be jewish your own desire, or your parents? Just asking because a couple good friends growing up were jewish and my oldest brother married a jewish girl. I always found it amusing how much their families always wanted them to bring home "a nice jewish girl" or a "nice jewish boy". I know my brother's in-laws really disliked him for years. My parents were never asked if any girl i liked was italian (but i do have relatives who are always trying to play matchmaker and do say things like 'ive got this nice italian girl you should meet, close i guess). But anytime I was over at friends houses it was a staple of dinner conversation, how important it was to for my friend to bring home a nice jewish girl and how completely disappointed they were when ever they dated a girl that wasnt jewish lol.

I've always guessed that being that you'd be hard pressed to find a more oppressed people they really put a lot of emphasis on keeping their lineage going strong.
Sorry if it's a derail, but just one of those interesting personality quarks i've always found amusing.
