ok, last weekend I went on two, yes TWO, blind dates. The first one was kinda a drag and I was home before 8pm. I'll call that guy "Jake". The one the following day was accually loads of fun. I thought that the guy really liked me and he left the house at around 10. I'll call him "Harold". Keep in mind that I have been emailing these two blokes for a couple weeks prior to this. Jake and I went out several years ago once and never saw each other again but emailed some, and Harold was my younger sisters friend and she set up the email exchange. Its been over a week and no "real" contact

I got a jumk email from Jake on monday and I sent a reply on tuesday that it was a funny joke and a ps that I had a good time that saturday.

Got no reply and he quit sending me jokes.

I had word from Harold, so.... I sent him an email asking how he liked his email provider since I was in the market (AOL is going up again) and a PS that I had a good time that sunday.

The reply was two sentances: "i like it its 14.95. I dont have time to talk to you, Im going to a friends house" All the other emails were long and entertaining, even when he said he didnt have time for a reply.

SO.... whats up? Is it me or are these guys REALLY not intrested in even an email friendship? Did I do something wrong? Or is this just "Guy" for something else?

I'd love some input. Im not dissapointed here either, strangely enough, Im just wondering how to gague this as I am a dreadful reader of peopel (imagine that in an aspie)

Yea, us men tend to be as*holes that frequently approach situations by saying "if I ignore her long enough maybe she will go away." Sorry to say it, but it seems like that is the situation here.

Yeah, it's like it sometimes. But isn't there a female counterpart to that? Like "if I don't return his calls long enough, maybe he'll get the hint?" Not to bash women or anything, but to reitereate that everybody has the potential to be rude (which isn't a good thing).

YES there IS a female counterpart to that now that you meantion it. Funny, I was never one of them. I was always worried about appearing to be kind even if I wasnt feeling that way. Thanks for the input yall!

Hale_bopp, no worries, eh? I figure the bursh off has got to be better than some encounters where they accually TOLD me they didnt want to have anything to do with me for what ever reason. LOL. Oh well, their loss.... Thanks for the input though!

Well as I see it, there's possibilities...

a) they're giving you a polite brush off
b) they're playing games
c) they're genuinely busy
