Heh, I wanted to put something like that on my facebook status, because I've been feeling like a fool lately.

Really.I've figured out if you have a certain status you can post the most inane comment ever and immediately get 30 replies. I am not one of the chosen.

Consider yourself lucky that you are not one of the chosen -- it just seems ridiculous to me the amount of time NT's will spend on something like facebook.

May I suggest one for Aspies that says.

"I hope Silent Night is a reality, and just not a Christmas Carol for you this year!"

any other Greeting Cards for Aspies ideas?

May your parents
buy you
what you asked for
this Christmas

Even though your
mom needs to
pretend it was
brought by the
guy in the red suit
and the fake beard
to justify the cost

That was good.

My son's greeting card would read...

"Did you know that General Grevious has four lightsabers?"

Who has time for things like "hello", "love from", "dear", when there's so much more interesting stuff to say.

After seeing some posts on the board, on the back there should be a detailed form on why you answered yes or no.

Believe me, being one of the chosen is overrated. It's more confusing than anything when there are 20 to 30 or more responses to everything you post up. I'm not exactly sure how it happened.

Lab Pet checks the red 'Yes' box

It's like a box of chocolates, but romantic. Aspie style.

Great!

Now let's see a version for the over-verbose, hyperlexic types. :D

Lab pet that was great!
Does your lab jacket actually say lab pet?
What do you do there besides make robots?
My son always talks about making a robot to clean his room

Oh, V8 is just a pet.
In actuality I'm a grad student (chemistry/neuroscience) at University and research. Laboratory is my forte - academics are priority. Yes - both my lab coats are embroidered with "the Lab Pet" and that's my nickname, not just a username. I'm math/science oriented. Neuroscience is an upcoming field and strong program at my University with lots of diverse chemists/biochemists, etc. Neuropharmacology is partly what we do too. Earlier (aka: this summer/fall) I was doing immunocytochemistry 'staining' for protein markers; dopamine & 5-HT are neurotransmitter of interest right now for my work - glutamate receptors, etc. I already have a masters and continue - PhD pursuit takes time. Neurophysics is an area of interest for me too. Currently I'm writing-up my research.

For your son: (ahem).....I don't know if V8 cleans rooms or not! But he's great in the lab and he does walk around but best with his leash. I can say, for any that are science/math oriented, knowledge of basic mechanics is part of the mindset. Thanks for watching!

Not to get off-topic for the Aspie card - awesome choice BornToDie! Did occur to me that the inside (blank?) could serve as a place for written rationale of the appropriately checked box. I really like that the choice is binary 8)
