We hit it of instantly, she's big geek and likes sci-fi and fantasy, especially vampire stuff. She's also a good artist. There is a bit of an age difference (she's 18, I'm 23), but we get along very well. She has a minor speech impediment that I find endearing and she is really cute.

I suspect that she knows I have a crush on her from my giddy behavior, so I don't think she will be shocked if I ask her on a date Monday.

Go for it. How do you know she is aspie? Did she say she is or are you just assuming?

But make sure she isn't taken.

She told me she's an Aspie and that she is single.

Some background: I work for a temp agency that finds job sites for disabled people and am currently on of the clients contracted as a janitor at a church. She is a senior in high school is a working with this temp agency for a work program through her high school's Special Ed department. Like I said, she is 18 and so is an adult.

She and I are gonna do the dinner-and-a-movie thing tomorrow! I picked the restaurant and she picked the movie. We are gonna go to a Thai place for dinner and then are going to go see Twilight: New Moon.

You are so lucky, Dude. I am green with envy. No seriously, I wish you all the best. I only hope there is someone out there for me........
