I might have asked this before. Maybe the world doesn't owe me a girlfriend but everyone's going to talk about all the girls they dated in college and all I will be able to say is that I studied and had no social life. I even tried going out and drinking, but couldn't stand the hangovers that followed.

I mean what will a girl think if she finds out I had no social life in college? I only have 1.5 years left, so I need to act quick!

Then welcome to the club ! ! When I was in University, the best I could do was get a date. I had a lot of first dates and that was it. I never did have a steady girlfriend. There was one girl I did date several times, who finally confessed to me that she was gay.

i barely dated in college. i don't recall the topic ever coming up as i was getting to know my husband. we eventually shared sexual histories and got tested for HIV and hep B+C before we had sex. the advantage of not having had sex is that you don't need to get the tests. i never had sex until i was 26. prior th*t i'd wait 'til marriage, but i jut got too curious.

have you asked many girls out? iasked out about half the folks i dated, but many girls don't feel comfortable asking. you could start with a study date. that would insure having something to talk about.

Hmmm. This raises several questions. How small is the college, and town where it resides? Have you tried meeting girls in different types of classes? Have you taken classes outside of your major, such as Intro To Acting, or Photography 101 to meet girls? Do you attend religious services at college to meet girls? Have you followed the basic guidelines regarding personal grooming to make yourself as attractive as physically possible?

It's actually one of the largest in the country. I have no time for classes outside of my major, though I actually started attending religious services again this year.

I'm not that attractive. I didn't think it was important, but funny enough, the only criticism I got was that I sound boring, which counts for something.

I had no interest in dating in my first 3 years in university. I did have a little interest in my final year but surprise, most of the women interested in me were foreign students who were leaving for good in a few months. I wish I understood that university was my last major chance to meet women because it doesn't get any easier as an adult that's for sure!

I never dated in all the time I was an undergrad and in grad school.

I have my excuses of course (don't we always?) but the fact of the matter is that I very much regret it.

True but those girls are in college too & the OP used the word Had which implys he's talking about after college. There may be some girls in college who aren't into the going out & partying scene. They're harder to find thou since they don't go out.
