So.. Here goes my dilemma... I like this one girl at school, although she is an aspie I still give her the equal treatment (if you wanna call it like that). I believe that everyone deserves respect and the right to be treated like everyone else, no matter how you are, how you look, and what you got..

Anyway back to my story... Met her in the fall.. She's quite a genius and cute. Although I gotta say that the only thing I dislike is when she has her mood swings.. I'm not an aspie or anything although I also got a disability. Its a physical disability called spina bifida, a birth defect that affects the lower part of your spine which leaves you semi paralyzed or even quadriplegic (hope i spelled that right). I'd like to ask for any advice I can get from anyone in this forum... What would be the best way to deal with someone who has asperger's syndrome? specifically mood swings... I hope i did not offend anyone in what I said....

Thanks in advance for your help..

Ask her out and be prepared to be shot down. Aspies aren't always the most socially polite or considerate folks.

what would you do on a friends level with someone who's "normal?" - find something in common that you can talk about and have fun with!!

it may be as easy as it sounds but its actually not... I mean sometimes it seems like she likes me.. Like today I had an injury on my arm and it kept hurting throughout the day... It was nice of her to put some vicks on my arm. And she was really sweet and kinda flirty.. LOL.. I might just have to take your advice.. Although I've tried to do this a couple times, I'm gonna give it another shot
