Upon realizing that I'm an Aspie (I haven't yet been officially diagnosed, but goddammit, the condition explains so much about me), I'm wondering if I should take a different path regarding networking and dating. There's this wingman meetup that I'm a member of, but haven't been to any of the meetings yet. It's really about teaching each other to communicate with women, having a healthy dating life, networking, and building mutually supportive male friendships with each other.

It all sounds great to me, but I'm wondering if this would really do me any good. I'm thinking that maybe this group would benefit NT's a lot more than someone like me, and that I should try to find an Aspie group in my city, and to start from there. On the other hand, maybe I should stay with the meetup because it would really benefit me. What's your input?

try the meetup, if it bothers you pretend you have an appointment or something. you would feel less nervous in an aspie group though.

I think a person could learn things from this, perhaps to take what you can use from this wingman meetup would be a good idea.
