While it's geographically irrelevant to all users here but still can be an interesting social phenomena
to some.

Some points are way exaggerated in the article, I think...but it's not far from the truth:

yea, and it was just after a dire war, I think some girls were too desperate to leave tom somewhere else.
But personally, I don't think things changed much.

Well, for desperate guys it's certainly one of the best places to find a bride I guess.
and oh, if she or her parents are traditionalists, you would have to pay for the whole house + the whole wedding and she wouldn't pay you a penny, her contribution is purely optional . But that wouldn't be a problem for you, Grisha. :P

That's interesting - I spend a fair bit of time off-shore from there.
