So I don't have much interest in dating and relationships and all that. However, I occasionally have this urge to just start having sex with woman. But no, I'm not gonna give in to temptation.

It actually makes sense though, you see, lots of people have urges and thoughts of having sex with other people right? However, an aspie may not have interest in the socializing part of romantic relationships. So whats left? The physical part.

That's odd. I like the idea of relationships purely for emotional and intellectual fulfilment but I don't feel physically aroused.

I can somewhat relate. I think it might be due to lack of experience, at least on my part. I don't know what it's like to be in a relationship, so I don't "miss" any of the upsides of being with anyone; I just think of what I'm driven to do, and that is to have sex. That's not to say I favour one-night stands or polygamy, because I think I would find it difficult psychologically to handle anything other than a monogamous relationship (I'm quite a jealous person).

Well, i am guessing that some of us can be without the socializing part of love (The "game of love" i mean, i.e. not acting intrested, calling so and so days later to not act desperate... blah..bla..blah... and other illogical NT BS customs).

But the honest stuff - cuddling, holding hands, feeling appreciated, loved and returning the feelings, dining out, travelling the world together - and all that other stuff, i do not want to miss out on anything of that.
