do it?

I always wonder the whole Carpenter's They live outlook Produce, consume and obey, which is what we do in our society, but what if we are able to see the truth behind the lies.. yet still live it?

I was not in a situation on my own when my parents left me because I started college. It was a dark scary night, but as most people in college I also became involved with the sex weed acceptance thing, but unknown about my disorder at the time.. basically I reached out to people thinking they like me or respected me- but used me to the point of..
Then after I had a period of one night stands asking myself is this the best I can do or is it fun.
Then i try relationships but always screw up on commitment cuz my mind apparently only thinks about one thing i hate when women say that but it may be true subconsciously...

SO am i just stuck in this trap, or is it a good trap?

I find my pleasure, elsewhere. I find it, in the form of music or technology.

I think it's because the media has conditioned us to believe that we all must want sex. Look at the advertising industry; sex sells so much because it is the main thing being marketed

It feels good because of the large concentration of nerve endings in the genitals. It's needed for the survival of the species, so it makes sense to have people really, really like it.

Cockney- can find it in music and technology, I can be totally obsessed with anything impulsively but once it comes to sex, just like buying or finding every cd by every artist.. it becomes a obsession to bank account growing slim :(

nick007- True and sometimes i wonder and think do i even need to be this way, it is just how we are conditioned too.. let alot of times i admit i just go with the flow, not sure why, if there were 30 woman naked jumping off a cliff and wanted me to go with them .... im not sure what i'd do!

As humans, we need sex. I find it distressing how it is hidden and suppressed.

Agreed. Although I object to the way it is "marketed" by the media and how it is shunned as being "evil" and "filthy".

That is a myth. Humans do NOT need sex. I know asexuals who are perfectly happy living there entire lives without having sex. I've gone 27years of my life without sex & I see no rezone why I "need" sex in my life. What I find distressing is that people think something is wrong with me & others because we are not into sex

nick i must seriously question this: I did not know what sex was when i was in 7th or 8th grade till someone said hes gonna get some p****.. i still didn't know, I didn't know when my dad had calendars of woman with their boobs on stihl calendars in the garage.. I got a F in sex class in middle school..
but as soon as high school college, peers, fitting in, and finding it desirable.. there was no end to this new obsession.. could it be that w/aspergers it could be not just sex but example a certain comic book? buy everyone one in sight or obsess about it? or were we just naturally drawn to wanting this desire that is not supposed to be hidden?

Not by the media per se. It's just schools and old traditions and ways seem backwards in this thought.

I'm sure sex is an instinctual urge that every human has felt.

How is it a stereotype? I am sure this instinct was a driving force of reproduction in our early human stages.

It is a stereotype because you are assuming that every human has that urge when NOT everyone does
