I sure am, I've gotten every thing ready, dinner reservatoins, car rental, tux rental, every thing! Neither of us had to pay for tickets because we sold enough fund raiser candy to pay for them. i cannot wait for Saturday the 21st of this month!

I'm excited about Prom! I became a model for one of the local Tuxedo shops which means that I will be wearing a really expensive tuxedo to school and handing out discount cards to the other students during the weeks before prom. As a result, my tux rental will be copped.

My school's prom was this past Saturday night. I didn't go. I went to a party that had about 500 people there instead.

I haven't gone to prom in 3 years

I am going to mine and looking forward to it, mostly because it will be my first real date, i am 18, and I really like the girl I am taking. I don't have to pay because I go to a boarding school and they pay for it.

Thanks I am hoping it will go well and that the music isn't to loud. I can't dance either, but then again neither can she.

Don't worry bout the danceing, pip taught me how to dance, it aint that hard, just but your arms around her lower back, and her arms go around your neck, hold her close, and slowly turn, and make sure you don't step on her.

mine was about 5 years ago and it sucked. After party ruled but it was broken up by the police.

I will not be attending any "after parties", I do not intend to consume any alchocal what so ever.

Proms are ret*d, the after parties are the whole point.

I'd be a teetotaler, but I like cuba libre.
However, thats a damn expencive drink, so i don't drink that much

I went to prom a few years ago....it mostly stunk, but was kind of cool.

My date was the one who (could) ask me, because I was homeschooled at the time and so I couldn't go unless asked me...and I was actually fine with that. When she called me to ask, I was completely blown away and nearly flubbed it, but luckily my mom was around and practicly ordered me to say "yes" to the girl, so it worked out.

I was really happy for the two weeks leading up to it - getting all the flowers and dresses and dinner arrangments ready....but the actual night was where the fun stopped.

We had a nice dinner at the local Jakers, although I was a nervous wreak having never been on a real date before, but it really got bad when I realized that she actually was just using me to get into the prom where she actually wanted to dance w/ some other guy....and she told me a bunch of lies about herself...for whatever reasons, I'm not sure.

In any case, I spent most of the prom taking with other guys...and did barely dancing at all. I was depressed for about a year after the prom, but now have forgiven both the girl and myself.

Good luck on your proms you guys - I'm sure it'll be better than mine.

it makes no sense to me why people get drunk on prom night. ahh sure, we may have one or two wine coolers BETWEEN the two of us, but thats it.
