I hear ya. People say you "don't need someone", but it is a human need nonetheless.

I probably need love. If I am loved I'm not good at picking it up.

The worry is that I'm not any good at giving it back, which seems a little unfair.

I can do care, concern consideration, commitment... but from past experience I gather they are not the same thing, or even adequate substitutes.

Wanting and needing are two different things.

Needing, is if you don't have it you'll die.

Wanting, is a yearning for, but you'll survive if you don't have it.

Get a puppy. They're low-maintanence love machines.

But if the puppy doesn't love you, then you're probably screwed.

If you need love, get a pet.

I would hate life without a pet, it would be awful.

I recently moved out to go to college, and I'm not allowed to have a pet at my apartment :(

(but that's probably a good thing, since you really need a yard for a dog)

Single people will die sooner and is warse for you health then smoking. If you don't end up taking your life, your body will do it for you and if that does not happen you will end up gambling it away.

Haddaway asks, "what is love" but never gets around to answering the question. I guess its retorical. I'd ask too, but really, I dont care to listen to the answer. The concept 'tis boring.

Maybe Haddaway doesn't know the answer, I don't know the answer. You think you have it one minute and then the next it blows up in your face. Love anyone?

I agree with the idea of getting a pet. Unconditional love in a cute and possibly fuzzy package! :D

Pets aren't the same. A cat snuggling up to you isn't as satisfying as a couple cuddling.

Trust me, I've been a cat owner for almost my whole life.
