How do I behave in starting a relationship?
My friend put on FB she was going to have a movie night with her boyfriend. I'm confused. Where do you go from meeting a guy (say work/college) to watching movies with him being around him alot (not just dates) I think (if I'm right) He would want to be around me so he'd call hey lets go on a date and perhaps staying at his place might lead to a movie night. I guess just like a friendship start with a common interest (me talk/think Psychology 24/7) you the guy walk the other way thinking I'm weird. I see you/group of guys chatting videogames how about that new Mario game? (Again weird looks) I don't know HOW to have a boyfriend!! !! !! HELL I don't know how to have friends period! but the main thing I'm curious about is a boyfriend (I am going on 25 you know)
Sounds rough.
I always found the borderline between dating/friendship a bit hazy. I had a couple of relationships where I wasn't even sure after the fact. Even with my current partner, there was a bit of a fuzzy period. I asked her to dinner and a movie (thinking it was obviously a date) and she tells me that she wasn't sure up until the point where I held her hand during the movie (I spent most of the movie planning how to go about holding her hand.)
Buggered if I know how to get one started, though! Shared interests; sure. Sounds like a good plan. I like the advice my mother gave me: be nice, smell nice and brush your teeth
