I'd like to know of some good single websites that would allow me to meet people close to me in my area (Florida). I've never used the internet before to meet people (except to chat). The reason I'm asking is because I have yet to meet another guy. I'd like to broaden my search a little more and maybe have some better luck.

P.S. Any advice or things to avoid on singles sites would help out alot.

Hey thanks. I'm trying it right now and it seemse like a good website. The one problem is that most of the people dont' visit their profiles very much and I can only really get into contact with them through e-mail. The problem with that is that I need to pay a monthly fee to see their e-mail address.

Any other sites?
