I'm a teenager trying to get a relationship in school but I always give off a bad impression people see me as a swat or brainiac, and on top of that I am very eccentric. The main problem is that people think I'm weird, I just want someone to know me well enough to be comfortable around me any advise would be great.

School sucks, and many people at school will still be immature, no matter how mature they think they are.

That said, is there a group of people at your school that you feel you could get on with? I think that so long as you have one or two friends, you're likely to be in a much better position to meet other people, girls included. If you happen to have an outgoing friend who knows a lot of people, all the better.

If not, just wait until university. It's way better.

How many of these threads are there going to be? When it rains, it pours.

It doesn't even matter that the OP is weird. Even if he was an average guy...the only guys who get decent looking girlfriends in high school are the popular guys, jocks, upperclassmen, and such.

Add in the unpopularity factor, and you literally stand no chance.

A girlfriend at that age isn't important anyway. Wait until college to find similar minded people to hang out with.

i am considered a decent looking guy and i couldnt even get an average looking girl in high school. girls at this age are only concerned with dating the most popular guys. had a had good social skills and played sports, ida probobly had lots of girlfriends by now, but things just didnt work out that way.

wait for college to try things out, thats what im plannin on. i start next month

in women's defence... what kind of girls do most school boys lust after? pretty sure its not the weird eccentric average looking brainiac.
i like weird brainiacs and im sure plenty of other girls do to, if you look for the right sort...
