I seem to have come across an unusual malady in myself, mentally speaking, and I'm not exactly sure why this is.
Although I am a White Australian (and thus Caucasian/White) the majority of White Australian women seem to elicit a visceral revulsion; even random pictures of celebrities of that origin (Jennifer Hawkins for instance) elicit this reaction. The reaction is that somehow my subconscious brain seems to think that White Australian women (and by extension, most Caucasian/White people in general) are walking corpses. I do not have as much of that reaction for White men, but I am strictly heterosexual and thus I cannot countenance willingly undertaking sexual dealings with men at all. I don't have that reaction with Africans, Asians or most people who are seen as 'another race'; indeed, I'm not going to explain too much but I will say the first age-appropriate crush I had when I was in high school was on a Japanese exchange student. I can get along fine as 'just friends' with basically anyone regardless of race but I seem to be repulsed by women of my own race due to some whacked out Uncanny Valley thing confusing them subconsciously with reanimated dead - this even considering I am White Australian myself!
Well, basically, I have had a relationship or two in the past, but only one of them resulted in what one would term "going all the way". Although both those individuals were nominally White Australian, the one I actually did have sexual relations with was quarter-Chinese and thus looked as if she was Eurasian. I don't know how that one came about.
Oddly enough, at least from seeing pictures of such, I don't seem to correlate albinistic people with that 'walking corpse' mentality I seem to assign White Australian women and other such despite their pallor. This makes the matter even more complicated than it would seem at first.
What the heck is wrong with my brain on this?! In my opinion, this (likely anyway) brain miswiring is, well...
