Didn't think I would be asking for advice on here again but here it goes:

I recently started public high school again. Homecoming is this Saturday and I asked this really cute girl (who I think might have AS) to go with me. She doesn't really know me but I walked up to her and said, "I think your adorable! I think you should go to homecoming with me. Think about it and ask some people that know me about me." That was yesterday and today she sid yes and gave me her number and email.

Now here are a few things I am wondering/nervous about:

She is only 1 month older than me but she can drive and I am barely getting my permit this week.

I was thinking of getting her a rose. Is this okay?

Also note she knows my mother and brother/sister.

I think a rose is a good way to say "I care" as long as your feelings are genuine (which I'm sure they are).

your post made me smile. so sweet! a rose would be a safe and lovely choice as a token of your affection. i think it would not be so bad if she drove (though i don't know what young culture is like - maybe girls care about old traditions still?). or you could have a third party like a parent drive both of you, anyways.

good luck!

Awww, so cute! ^_^

Roses are so sweet, carnations would work too but then again I like flowers. Don't try too hard though, it'll keep you from enjoying yourself. She already said yes, so you may as well relax a little. Just be a good boy, kay? Besides, it seems like you are going on two dates this weekend between the football game and the dance so it seems that she's interested too. Keep us posted.

I agree that it sounds like you should just try to relax and enjoy her company. A rose is a very nice idea. I would go with a rose over a carnation. Does she wear a certain color a lot? You might get a flower that's her favorite color, if you know it (girls like when you notice little things like this).

I hope it goes well for you. Try not to worry too much and to have fun. :)
