I know this might not belong on the general board, but I want people to read it and give me their opinion on it since more people read this one. Or at least for a couple days. I decided to write a letter to her stating my feelings. I'm not going to give it her her though unless at work she still says I'm pushy or I get nervous to tell her how I feel. Anyways here is pretty much what I said.

Quote:
*******. I'm writing this to tell you about how I feel. Like I said the other night I'm sorry if I was a little pushy on asking you out. I think you have a great personality, and your a very polite and adorable looking lady too. The main reason I asked you out is because your a great person and thats one of the main things I look for in a friend, girlfriend, or otherwise. I know your busym and go to school, but I would still like to get to know you better. Like we talked about before I would like to take you out sometime before you go back to school. Just call me when you can ******* and I'll be happy to set something up. or your always welcome to come over. I think your a great young lady and would love to have a friendship with someone like you *******.

I decided to not give the letter to her. Instead I talked to her and told her how I felt.

At work today I asked one of the guys, and he got her cell number for me. "No he's not dating her he has a gf" I talked to her before I went home and I told her how I felt. I told her I like her and she has a nice personality and that I think shes cute. She said thanks. I told her Id liek to be friends with her and she was cool. I wont call her cell unless she doesnt call me back this week. Then I'll call her on her cell. I asked her why she wont give me her number and she said she doesnt like people calling her all the time. I said lol I wont call you that much she said "so you would call me all the time" and she laughed. She doesnt know how I got her cell number though so I bet she would be shocked. Of course I called the number to make sure my leg wasnt being pulled and it was really hers. I didnt call on my cell, or home phone of course cause then she woulds know who it was.

I would not call her if I were you- it shows a complete lack of respect for her wishes and if she complains you run a very real risk of being sacked for sexual harassment!!

She didn't want to give you her number for a reason and you must respect that!! Wait and see if she calls you- she knows that you want to date her and everytime you talk to her about it you will just be coming across as even more pushy and desperate.

To repeat myself as you have seen this already on the other version of the forum LGB:

LGB you could lose your job, as this is now becoming inappropriate behaviour in the workplace. this could be seen as sexual harassment if your attentions are making her uncomfortable at work - and ringing her personal cellphone number after she wouldnt give you the number is just stupid. This is going too far. I am copying this post on to the other version of this thread - consider yourself told. Leave her alone before you get into serious trouble. If she is interested in you she will let you know. Please do not post on this topic again as people are sick of giving you advice to ignore.

I am now locking this thread.
